The shop itself is good. However, there is one male employee whom works weekends that makes this…read moreshop repugnant. This man has made my wife so uncomfortable, that even after going to the manager and having been told (after a small exchange of words) she would "have a conversation with him" over some very inappropriate comments, my wife does NOT want to go back. This man has hit on my wife on several occasions, attempted to flirt with my wife on several occasions and gone as far as to gauge her reaction to the possibility of him even calling her outside of business using information obtained for strictly business reasons. This man knows very well, and has known, she's married and knows the information given to him was strictly for business and he obviously doesn't care one single iota.
When I spoke with the manager, the first response I received read like she was trying to pass the most recent exchange off as a parlance around their loyalty program. It wasn't; and even if it had been, the comments shouldn't have NEVER left this associate's mouth or even entered this associate's mind. That parlance he initiated had zero to do with the loyalty program. I had to have a small exchange and point out specific parts of the conversation and went as far as to let the manager know this is NOT the first time he's done something like this, that he has gotten severely inappropriate SEVERAL TIMES, and this was just the first time I wasn't able to shake my anger at the situation, and only then did she agree the latest comments were inappropriate. Beware ladies; do not give this man that works here your information!
I wouldn't ever want to see the same thing happen to you that happened to my wife! She is so uncomfortable with this man and the way some very serious concerns were handled, she doesn't want to go back. Ever. It's a shame the situation was handled, in our opinion, so poorly. There is nothing okay with giving a representative of a company your information for strictly business and them using it (or pretending to joke about using it) for personal reasons without your consent and especially after you've shut them down over it (and them acting like you didn't just shut them down). There is nothing okay with being harassed like my wife was by this man, and very little being done about it.
There is nothing okay with getting so very, very inappropriate (as this guy has been) with customers by a representative of a company you're trying to do business with, and essentially being told by a manager that it's okay for them to do. That's what we feel happened in our case. Ladies, please be careful. He appeared to try to use discounts to almost justify, in a weird way, this gross and inappropriate behavior. Example, at one point he had even told her he would give her discounts if she would follow him on twitch, which was also inappropriate from a business perspective at bare minimum, and both her and I felt really super weird and uncomfortable with it.
If he's harassing my wife like this, we can't help but wonder if he has harassed or is harassing other ladies like this too. This one associate aside, and it's a shame that one bad apple can spoil the whole barrel, the store itself we enjoyed. It's a nice store, quality products at a reasonable cost. However, given the events with this one associate and all the comments and things he has done and then how it was handled, we won't be returning.
