This is a gift shop without any organization of items nor common gifts. Having this kind of store and then rudely telling shoppers to not touch anything due to her being a germaphobe, is actually insane. We left immediately and will not be returning. We have lived in LeClaire our entire lives and it's extremely unfortunate that one of our few gift shops is owned and operated by such an abrasive, rude individual. Spend your money at Aunt Hattie's and one of the many other friendly gift shops.

I visited the Calico on my first trip to Galesburg with a group of friends. They showed me around the town and we ended the trip at Calico Cat. It has a large amount of cool things that, if money weren't an issue, I would have all over my apartment. The staff is beyond amazing and they just offer so much! Candles, fudge, coloring books, wall art, socks... the list is almost endless. I have gotten Espresso fudge each time I have gone back and it is fantastic. Be warned though, they have a lot of cool stuff, but they are also pricey. But that is the price you pay for a niche gift shop with so many cool things.
