The hygienist at the time Carrie throughly explained the purpose of the deep cleaning, inflammation, bone loss. Etc As someone that always gets cleanings and having what I thought was a good at home routine I was a bit overwhelmed but Carrie and Dr. Patel assured me that I could get my tissue healthy again! First the right side then a few weeks later the left side. They increased my visits to every three months and gave me a at home regimen to follow! Since then I've been able to scale back to normal! I've never had a bad experience! The team is always friendly, welcoming & kind throughout the visit! If you're looking for a dentist go see Dr. Patel!

The hygienist had ZERO personality, smashed my lips between my teeth and her instruments, paid no attention to the skin around my teeth....this was giving me flashbacks of my childhood dentist. It hurt like hell. I was ready to get up and walk out, but I stuck it out. The X-ray process was painful and apparently not good for the doctor either... Had to retake several... This is why people skip the dentist.... I personally hate going, but I love Dr. Patel and 99% of her staff.... But one bad apple will spoil it for me. Next cleaning is in 4 months... Can I request to NOT get this person?

Here's…read moremy personal feeling on my personal experience and I would highly advise everyone to proceed with caution! I just moved from Texas to Savannah area. I originally called to make an appt to establish care with a local dentist and for some crowns I needed since I couldn't get completed prior to leaving Texas. I told the receptionist I saw them on a commercial and asked if they did crowns. She said they do normal dentistry among other things. Well these days, most dentist offices do cosmetic dentistry as well so I wasn't alarmed when she told me they do other things as well and are more than just a general dentist office. I was informed I would need to come in for a free consultation first. Appt made on 12/2/24. As I was driving to my appointment on 12.2/24, I saw a billboard for dentures. I immediately called the office and told them what I saw and told the girl I'm not interested or in need of dentures and will be keeping my teeth and needed crowns. She said they do crowns too. Made it to my appt. The two females that I spoke to took photo pictures of my teeth and a computer bite test. I thought I explained clearly that I was needing crowns. I was proceeded to be told that I have major bone loss in my teeth. Somehow I allowed them to take me down a rabbit hole with them and agreed to a prepaid $348 exam at a later date for each tooth to be evaluated and then determine next steps to proceed. I was told they examine each tooth and will structure plan on what I want and my budget. Left me a little bamboozled given I've been going to my dentist for over 20 years, but they seemed to apparently know something my 20 year dentist didn't know as they kept saying they look at the engineering of one's mouth to determine what's wrong and proceeded to convince me I have some major issues with my jaw, bone loss, etc. My teeth are NOT sensitive. I do NOT have any issues with my jaw. I do have teeth that are filled from years ago that now require crowns of which my dentist has told me I probably grind my teeth when I sleep. Anywho, they "seemed knowledgeable & professional" and are always running commercials on local cable channels on Sunday with testimonials of other patients so here I am finding myself down this rabbit hole. I just learned that the two women I saw are NOT Doctors. I'm not for sure what if any credentials they hold. I also literally just had my teeth cleaned last week by a dentist in Bluffton after my 12/1/24 appt because in the back of my mind I had red flags as soon as I prepaid the $348. The Bluffton recommended two crowns as did my TX dentist. Did an exam with X-rays and cleaned my teeth all for $150. The Bluffton dentist I saw essentially told me the exact thing my TX dentist has told me. Went to my prepaid exam yesterday on 12/17/24. Here's a pic of the prepaid $348 receipt. Here's a copy of the treatment plan they came up with. Their treatment plans range from three options with costs ranging from $35,000-$38,000, mid $30000-$40,000, to $60,000-$65,000. Bri actually scribbled down the costs and scribbled over her writing, and then actually emailed it to me today. Pics attached z. THE PLAN LOOKS HALF-AS**D WRITTEN & NOT in a format that I would ever consider as PROFESSIONAL!!! Just sharing my experience so I don't see y'all down that rabbit hole with me!

Only if we had a "leftover amount" would they file health in addition to dental insurance for removal of impacted wisdom teeth for my daughter. I had to pay over $200.00 up front and fight with them to get them to file health. The day of the procedure, we NEVER spoke with a Dr., a nurse came and got her, took her back and then said pull around back to pick her up. Pull in a little drive with nothing but a door to open to get my child and had to back out of the space. (What if it had been raining? No covered shelter) Did not provide ice packs and we had to drive 1 1/2 hours back home. Swelling was definitely going to set in before we got home so had to find somewhere in Savannah that had some type of ice pack as we weren't told anything about not providing ice packs (this is our 3rd child with wisdom teeth removal). Definitely NOT a good experience. The girls at the front desk acted like we were bothering them when we asked questions and even trying to check in. Very unprofessional environment from beginning to end. Even spoke to someone before the initial appt and gave all insurance info and emailed that info with the referral and still said they didn't have any of it. I should have read all of these comments before scheduling, would have gone somewhere else!

The dental hygienist, Lynette, was great and did really thorough work and made me super comfortable. A few months later, I went back after having insidious molar pain that was severe enough to wake me from my sleep. Long story short, I needed a root canal. I believe a root canal was likely the appropriate treatment plan. However, almost 6 months later I am still having problems with the tooth. I went back in at which time Dr. Dickinson said he likely missed a nerve during the root canal. I was hesitant to let him perform a second root canal so he "corrected the bite" which helped a little with the pain. I still have intermittent pain and now have daily bleeding from the gums around that tooth. (This is $2,400 later out of my own pocket). I am a health freak! I floss 1-2x a day. I use Tom's toothpaste. I use charcoal to whiten my teeth instead of chemicals that can ruin the enamel. If you look at most of my Yelp reviews, they are positive. I am only writing this because I originally went here due to the positive reviews on Yelp. If you only need a teeth cleaning, this office is great. If you need any other dental work I would highly advice not going here.

My mom, who has had a stroke and…read moreis in the nursing home acquired the services of Miller Dental Group Pooler, LLC to realign her dentures because she had lost significant weight which resulted in her dentures not fitting correctly. She paid $800.00 to them up front on July 25, 2025. They took 2 minutes to "realign" the dentures and then told us to follow up to determine whether or not the dentures needed to be readjusted again or new ones were needed. At the follow up appointment she informed them that they did not fit and she was unable to wear the dentures. The dentist recommended obtaining a new set of top dentures instead of trying to realign them to fit. They told us at that appointment (and two other previous occasions), that the amount previously paid to them would be applied to those new dentures. It was decided that she would come back for an appointment to get fitted for the new dentures. However, after this was decided (in the same appointment), prior to leaving, the dentist then had his staff informed us that he was not going to do anything until she consulted with a specialist first. We stated that obviously we could not afford that as all of my mom's income was income was going to the nursing home. Despite informing the staff, the dentist still refused to do anything until she went to the specialist which was going to cost close to $300.00 to just get in the door to talk to the specialist, money which we did not have. Because the dentist refused to do anything further, we asked for a refund of the monies that were previously paid as nothing was done and nothing was going to be done. We were told that someone from the practice would call us about the issue of the refund. Never received a phone call and had to contact the practice again in January, 2026, at which time, the practice informed them that they would not refund any money at all for services never rendered and dentures that she was never able to use. $800.00 for nothing! All they care about is taking your money.
