This Pediatric office is tucked away from the traffic of Speedwell Avenue in a small red brick building. You may miss the turn in from the street if you haven't been here before so give yourself a few extra minutes to arrive for your first appointment. The waiting room is small but appropriate for the number of people that have been present each time I have arrived. There is a little play corner set up by the check in counter to help keep your little ones occupied during their wait. Our wait times have tended to be very short when we arrived a few minutes before our appointments. Dr. Zambrano and her team have been excellent with the care of our child since the very first time we walked through the doors. My wife and I truly feel that the pediatric care for our child and family has been among the best we've experienced since we arrived in New Jersey about a year ago. The bedside manner of Dr. Zambrano is amazing to watch when our sick/hurt/scared child becomes relaxed and calm in her presence. It also works wonders for nervous and/or concerned parents. We appreciate that she is open to allowing parents to decide weather to use antibiotics or not if the situation allows for it. And we feel fortunate that we found this office with Dr. Zambrano and her team.

There are never too many people in the waiting room and the wait is never long. They are very accommodating and will work to get your child scheduled as soon as possible. My child was seen by their office from birth- 7 months old until we ultimately had to switch. In…read morethe short time we had received multiple conflicting advice from the nurses and doctors, sometimes during the same visit! For example, one visit a Nurse said, great weight gain! At the same visit Doc said weight gain is concerning. One doc said she no flat spot. Other doc said big flat spot and in need of PT and helmet. I even had one doc tell me, "well, the AAP guidelines recommend XXXX, but I don't". I'm a healthcare professional myself and I have a real problem with that. The last straw was we came in for a scheduled flu shot appointment. In advance of our scheduled visit I called the nurses expressing concern about my child's diaper rash. They offered to look at it during the planned flu shot appointment. We arrive, flu shot is given, we ask the nurse to please check the rash (mind you, my child has nothing on but a diaper at this point and the nurses previously offered to do so over the phone). She tells me NO I have to make an appointment. And they are very busy right now but I can wait in the waiting room if someone becomes free. And on the way to the waiting room she says no one is available. Sigh. When I decided to leave the practice, I asked for my child's medical records to be transferred to the new practice. The admin tells me, something to the effect of, "sure, I'll just need 25 dollars and you can come in and pick them up yourself". She says, "the state of NJ allows us to charge up to $1 per page so we do". It took all of my strength to pay them, pick the documents up, and not fight with them. I didn't make a scene because I am grateful my child is healthy and grateful we are out of there before we truly needed their help. Sharing so others can be well informed when making the decision on a pediatric practice. Despite all the wonders I was told I honestly had the worst healthcare experience there.

The treatment rooms are dirty. They also are in violation of the Hippa laws by making you sign in at the front desk for all to see the paper they have out on the desktop all day long. Some things to note now: When you arrive, you need to call them when you're in the lobby of the building- you're not allowed to be in the lobby of their actual doctor office. Covid tests are done in a completely separate area than the Dr. office. Results for those tests are available within about 15 minutes - after a covid test, you have to wait in the lobby until results are provided before you can proceed with the rest of your dr. apt. Overall - very happy for our switch and for the support this office provides!

Then the…read morefront desk staff changed and it's become the most unprofessional clinical practice- nasty, unhelpful front desk who makes you feel like you're an aggravation when you're calling to make appointment for your sick child. They should just stay home and watch tv if they're unhappy working so they're not affecting access to healthcare. If front desk staff can be overhauled, this practice maybe able to turn around.
