My partner and I had need of a notary for a name change application. Our main criteria was someone who was LGBQT+ friendly and given the current state of affairs regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, someone who was conscientious in providing a safe environment. My first attempt at contact via their website form went unanswered. Several days later I use the form again and they responded very quickly. I am aware that sometimes messages get lost in cyberspace. Kieran was very responsive via email and patient with respect to setting up an appointment given our busy schedule. The Morris Law office is beautiful and inviting. As were all of the staff. We had a delightful experience working with Kieran Morris. He was very friendly, efficient, supportive, and kind. If we ever have need for the offerings of Morris Law, we will definitely be returning. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

I wish I could give negative ratings, since giving even one star is too much here. I had the unfortunate experience of meeting "Adele Tagirova, M.A.". She was rude, snarky, incompetent, and unprofessional. I paid her $40 for a notarization. She never had the manners to say please or thank you. She also refused to email a copy of it to more than one person, saying it was "too time consuming". Was this woman born on the planet STUPID? The only reason I did not yell at her, was I needed this. What a moron. Furthermore, she screwed up the spelling of the LONE email address she did claim to send the email to. This, despite the fact I WROTE down the full email address, in BLOCK letters. People like this should not be allowed to do anything more than clean dung at a zoo. Why is she a notary? Can I complain? I am a Canadian and I expect professionalism and MANNERS. If this woman can't perform, she should be fired. read more

My first initial contact was through the website contact page. No one contacted me back. I waited 4 days. Then I called in a left a message with reception. No one contacted me back. Then I called back and left a message on Kieran's voicemail. No one contacted me back. I wasn't being impatient. This whole process was over a course of almost 3 weeks. I chose to contact this place due to the close distance to my work, but I would never use Morris Notary services because no one ever responds to messages. They don't take their voicemails and messages seriously. Don't bother! read more

I needed a notary service last minute and was able to locate Morris Law in Gastown. I emailed to inquire about the service and received a response quickly from Kieran Morris. We set an appointment same day. COVID protocols were in place so Kieran met me at the office building entrance and then to his offices. Great to see the safety measures in place. Vancouver Downtown Notary was established by Kieran S. Morris, who is a lawyer, notary public, and commissioner of oaths in British Columbia.

Kieran believes that document preparation and legal services should be accessible, affordable, and convenient. Life can be hectic! We don't always have the time to plan and make appointments days or weeks in advance to see a Notary Public or lawyer. That is why Kieran has made it an important part of his business to accept same day appointments, so that everyone can be accommodated. Kieran also knows that a lot of people work Monday to Friday, 9-5. Because of this, Kieran is happy to make himself available for after hours and weekend appointments upon request. As a lawyer, Notary Public, and Commissioner of Oaths, Kieran has the knowledge and skill to help you with your document preparation, and to make sure that everything is done right the first time.

I have run into constant problems with them, have had to go back and forth with new bank drafts for different amounts, and pick up cheques for outstanding balances owed to me because they keep making errors. I am still in the process of dealing with the sale of my property, and the mistakes keep piling up. The greatest service that I had so far in Vancouver! I needed to get certified copies and I was very lucky I found Morris Notary! I called to 5 notary services prior Kieran and he was the only one easily accessible over the phone and ready to welcome me in the office in such short notice. I have to share that the experience of using Mr. Morris was amazing and I don't believe anyone can match his service in Vancouver.
