True Americana! Not your average farmer's market with baked goods & fresh fruit/veggies, but also other savory treats and beautiful decor! They even host summer concerts which is a great way to spend some time during the warmer weather. Many places to sit and take pictures. Tried the vanilla milkshake & redneck egg roll, both very tasty. Will be back!

TLDR: Farmers Market with good bathrooms! I always stop here on the way to/from the OBX. Fresh veggies and fruit, kitschy snacks. They have wine and beer and baked goods as well. The bathrooms are appreciated. Two options, the actual bathrooms that people clean after each use or the outhouse kind. Please remember to bring a few dollars for tipping the people keeping the bathrooms clean There is also an outdoor area that sometimes serves food (think hot dogs, bbq), beer and has live music. This place is busy Friday/Saturday/Sunday as travelers to the OBX are passing through.

Never expected such a great early lunch experience! Fantastic menus and food at the two good trucks under the pavilion. Plenty of parking, seating and chill-out areas. Take some time to listen to the live music and have a nice bite (full sized breakfast and lunch entrees, all cooked fresh right there). Check hours, as Morris's is seasonal!

Live bands, food, bevs (shakes, ciders, booze), hay rides, and market shopping for local flare. Prices are a la carte, higher than grocery stores but you're supporting local growers and farms. Indoor and outdoor seating. Restrooms on site with plenty of free parking. Brisket and fried pickles were pretty good.

Pumpkin season is upon us and we piled our cart high with the colorful gourds they had for sale! The pumpkin bins were separated by color; I never knew there were so many different varieties of gourds! We chose white, cream, and a gourd-geous Aqua color!! They had Tons of traditional orange pumpkins for the strip or your favorite pie! And they stocked plenty of mums to mix and match! Along with the fall decor, they carried homemade items, foods, ciders, produce and gifts! If you're headed in or out of OBX, make this a quick pit stop!

Cute goat. I always stop to see the bunnies too.

Bottom Line: A large seasonal farm market with a variety of produce, food and gifts that is generally open from April to November. Morris Farm Market is one of my favorite places on earth! I really admire the effort that goes into farming, I am fascinated with agriculture and I really like the Currituck County culture so I appreciate all of the local fresh produce at this road-side market that for me is more like mecca. Corn, tomatoes, berries and peaches always catch my eye in the summer months and in the fall I am fascinated by all the varieties of pumpkins and gourds. Morris is more than just fresh produce - they also sell nuts, candy, salsas, sauces, ciders, beer, puzzles, t-shirts, home decor and other goodies. I never leave empty handed. The atmosphere and displays at Morris are excellent. I love making my way through the breezy open-air barn over what I assume is the original floor. Everything is nicely displayed too so it makes shopping more enjoyable. Morris is a well-known pit stop for vacationers seeking their clean gratuity-based restrooms and porta potties.  The restrooms are well equipped and stocked with a toilet, urinal, sink, baby changing station, fan, air freshener, soap, paper towels, etc. and they are checked, and serviced if necessary, after every customer.  The restrooms are decorated with old photos from Currituck and one of my favorites is a photo of a boatload of watermelons headed to the port of Baltimore.

There is nothing wrong with this place. Everything is delicious! I always make a point to go to the dip and beer section. Plenty of parking available. Baked goods located all the way in the back. Fresh produce. Sauces, dips, anything pickled and more. Talking about pickled...they have pickled quail eggs you HAVE to try. I made my staff try some and to their surprise...surprisingly delicious. Follow them on social media. They have family events that you should not miss!!!

Love Morris but the prices are way too high now for locals. I get you are getting the tourists but I miss how it was!

Great environment but terrible products. We tried the fresh salsa and queso extreme. They were both very gross. It was very upsetting

Ask the Community - Morris Farm Market

Do employees wear masks? Do they encourage customers to wear masks?

No they do not. I was there two weeks ago and again today and none of the staff was wearing a mask- those that were walking around weren't and those that were behind a plexiglass shield.

They have buckets for you to grab, or you can bring your own. You get charged per pound that you pick and pay when you're done! They had so many strawberries ready to pick, I had so much fun doing this with my friends kids! I was already planning on making a homemade strawberry shortcake when I got home. They have a cute little coffee truck which I obviously had to stop by. If you have a strawberry latte during strawberry season - you can count on me to grab one! It was so good, and not too sweet or tart from the strawberry! I also had to grab their strawberry donuts from the farm stand. Which, needless to say ... they did not make it home with me. We scarfed those down! Incredible. I loved the "petting zoo" area. You can feed the goats, sit in the rabbit pen and give them some pets, and play with the piglets! Such a cute add on to this experience; and the petting zoo was no charge! They also have a ton of toys and bounce houses for the kiddos. If you're looking for a fun strawberry picking experience, give them a try!

The event included food trucks and a variety of vendors. My friend and I grabbed some BBQ from S&J Catering and it was delicious. As we walked through the different shops, I absolutely loved all the fresh local, produce that was available.
