Any judge or jury would see through this flimsy attempt to discredit valid concerns. I have reached out to Mr. Petchul on multiple occasions to address these false claims, yet he has failed to respond--likely because he knows the accusations in his letter have no legal merit. His role in this is clear: to silence a homeowner who is questioning the HOA's selective enforcement of the rules and to enable the Board President to continue exercising unchecked power. Mr. Petchul's attempt to intimidate me with meritless legal threats has backfired, and his participation in this kind of unethical behavior is shameful. Despite my requests to speak with a paralegal or attorney, I never did. All communication was routed through an intake manager, which is a way for them to avoid accountability for the false and misleading information they give you. I received inconsistent and often contradictory information -- particularly around the communication with the insurance company. It became clear over time that the goal was to make me feel like my case had little value so I would be relieved to accept whatever low offer they put in front of me. They drag the process out, prioritizing quantity of cases over quality of representation. Months pass with little communication, bills pile up, and you grow exhausted and desperate. By the time an offer comes, you have been worn down to the point where you will accept whatever they "negotiate". They will not take your case to court -- that takes time and effort that does not fit their model. They told me that if I wanted to pursue a lawsuit with another firm then I should expect to pay upfront for representation. This is false. Personal injury attorneys work on contingency.
