When I made the decision to terminate representation and requested my client file, the situation escalated in a way that I found completely inappropriate for a legal professional. In a written response, Mr. Willens told me to "stop spamming" him with "stupid AI generated letters" and suggested I "seek medical attention." This kind of language toward a client is not only unprofessional, but deeply concerning. Additionally, there was confusion and concern around billing and communications involving third parties that I did not authorize, as I was the individual who retained counsel and signed the agreement. Rather than working toward a resolution or maintaining professionalism, the tone of communication became hostile and dismissive.
