I visited this location after trying to schedule an appointment for over a month at both Lacey and…read moreUniversity Place and having my appointment cancelled because the massage therapist was sick. This is definitely the season and it effects all of us so might I recommend we try to practice some of those wise choices that we're required of us during COVID-19, I'm also speaking to those who visit massage places when they're sick. Anyway, I received a gift card. That's the only reason I scheduled an appointment. For health reasons, as a frequent migraine sufferer, I've scheduled monthly massages for myself for over 20 years but since arriving in Wakinekona/Washington, despite my doctor recommending massage as treatment, it's not included in insurance and this place is hella pricey, not just Hand and Stone but almost every massage location I've looked into. However, the staff here are very friendly, professional, and the place feels clean. If you can afford it, then I'd recommend it. Try to be clear with your massage therapist when it comes to pressure. That always seems to be an issue regardless of where I am,this place is very gentle.

I think the massage service provided at this site is excellent. However, the business billing is…read morevery unprofessional. I had a monthly subscription. I had my last massage in Feb 2026 or early March 2026. After my treatment, I informed the woman at the front desk I wanted to stop my subscription. I asked her to remove my credit card from my account. My husband kept his subscription and we changed that to his credit card. On 3/23/36, my credit card was again charged the monthly subscription price of 89.95. I did not notice this until I was checking my account around 4/10/26. When I called, the woman on the phone said: "I called you". In checking my phone, there was a message that she had called. So, I asked for a refund or reversal to my card and nothing happened. So I just spent 89.95 for no service, that is fraud in my book. Today, was checking my account again and my card was charged $50 on 5/19/26 for a service my husband had. I called again and a very apologetic woman said she would take the card off both accounts. So treatment service is great. Mishandling money is unacceptable.

I purchased a yearly membership at UP Wellness Spa, which allows me to choose one treatment each…read moremonth, including Glow2Facial and CoolPeel. I started with three CoolPeel treatments because I wanted to reduce some sun spots on my face. While the treatments didn't completely remove them, they definitely helped lighten the spots. My skin tends to develop sun spots easily, so I knew it might take more treatments to see the results I wanted. After trying CoolPeel, I decided to stick with the Glow2Facial, and I absolutely loved it! Mia did all of my Glow2Facial treatments, and she was wonderful! The treatment bed is warm and so comfortable that I kept falling asleep during my sessions. It's such a relaxing experience, and I love how fresh, hydrated, and glowing my skin looks afterward! What makes this spa truly special is the people. Delisha is absolutely wonderful! She genuinely cares about your concerns, listens carefully, and does her best to accommodate your needs and preferences. With Delisha, you don't feel like just another client. She makes you feel like family and takes care of you as if you were one of her own. That kind of personal attention is hard to find these days! The yearly membership is also a great value, especially considering how expensive these treatments can be when purchased individually. Overall, I've had such a positive experience at UP Wellness Spa. Between the relaxing treatments, the wonderful care from Delisha and Mia, and the great membership value, I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking to pamper themselves and take better care of their skin!

Finding a stylist these days with the right skills and experience is not easy…read more Julie at Brassfield's really understood what I wanted, how my hair behaved and gave me a Pixie Haircut. I was very pleased with the results. It also holds it shape well, looks modern and flattering, and requires very little time to recreate in the mornings. I should mention a Pixie cut may look simple but a really good cut isn't. It takes skill, talent and experience to get the shape, texturing and movement right. (I have Asian hair.) So, if you are looking for a stylist, I would recommend Julie at Brassfield's. I trust her with my hair and that is about the highest compliment one can give a stylist.

Literally a hidden-gem! I was pleasantly surprised by this establishment and the amazing massage I…read morereceived from Stephanie. I receive regular massages and facials (high end to medium standard/locally & during my travels) so I am very experienced in spotting a quality spa and know what great service looks like! The dim lighting and ambiance is very nice and calming. The establishment feels exceptionally clean and nicely decorated, even the waterfall faucet was fascinating! Not high end but good enough, great quality massage spot. My masseuse, Stephanie, is so skilled, has great technique and was in tune with my body. She truly has the magic touch and maintained the firm pressure that I like. The customer service was excellent from all of the staff members. I love how easy it was for me to book online (a requirement of mine), even last minute booking worked out well! BUT...I should have CALLED to book as it is required to receive the $10 off of the first massage. Oh well, I love to support small business. The location is fairly easy to find with the help of Google Maps but, can be hard to spot since I do not recall seeing a business sign along the main road (I could be wrong). They share a building and entry with another business (I think it was some insurance company). The massage business sign is on the door so you know it's the right place! I was so pleasantly surprised by University Place Massage. I will definitely be a regular here with Stephanie. I highly recommend checking this place out ASAP!

UGH IF I COULD GIVE YOU NO STARS!!!!!…read more These guys were at the top of my list when I searched for massage places that accept worker's compensation insurance. I visited their website, reviewed all their services and read their reviews. I was eager to get relief from a job-related injury. However, I quickly discovered they are no longer willing to help. They advertise on their website that they assist with bodily and work-related injuries, but they have stopped doing so because they don't get paid the way they want when dealing with L and I. I was told this directly by a team member when I called. It's unacceptable that the medical field prioritizes profit over patient care. I injured myself on the job through no fault of my own, yet I am being denied proper treatment. This is selfish and unjust. If you want to retain customers, update your website immediately so people in genuine need are not misled or left suffering.
