I cannot say enough about this specific location of Morningstar. True customer service is still alive here which is rare these days. The staff but especially the Mgr Kurt, are all knowledgeable, personable professional individuals that provide top notch customer service. The facility itself is fantastic. Wide range of choices, great location with easy 24 hr access, nice wide lanes (double that of Public Storage facilities), very clean with access to dumpsters (Public Storage locks theirs, prohibits tenant use so they can charge clean up fees). I have rented three spaces with Morningstar Bethany, all contactless, seamless rentals done at MY convenience. Any issues that have come up, mostly administrative caused by my own personal chaos, have been cleared up in one email or phone call! They even have a moving truck available to rent at half the cost of most other places. Could not be happier with this location!!! read more

I'm not sure what the previous tenants complaint was other than an increase in rent. I can tell you that I have dealt with this company for apprx. 2 years and you really get what you pay for. Yes there may be cheaper storages in the area, however their conditions do not come close. The paved area has good access, not littered with nails and other items to give you a flat like many of the competition that have the cheaper rate. The managers I have had the pleasure of dealing with give 110% and are very professional. When you walk in even the appearance of the front office area sets them apart. You just don't see people as likable as Curt at other storage places. This guy is an absolute star! So why does that matter to you? Well just imagine, a high quality, communicative manager generally has a great team working with him. This also means that he and the team fix problems on site. I've watched as a few things deteriorated over time, like the entry gate. It was fixed and taken care of in a relatively short time. I always upgraded the unit I wanted to rent with the newest style of door lock for extra security. The team was always able to switch out the mechanism with no delay after my request. Usually next day! With a staff person on site seven days a week, you can always swing in and rent out a unit. I generally rent short term if my projects are overflowing in our garage at the house. So I've moved in and out a few times. Very easy process. read more

This is an awful place!! Raised rates without notice to tenants. This company is new to OKC area it use to be Security Self Storage. I was a longtime customer who rented a climate control unit. Over time the rates did change but it was very minimal this increase was significant without any notice it not fair business practices while the contract states something different. The previous company never raised rates without giving tenants a proper 30 day notice. This is a corporate own company so go figure!! I learned a lot in shopping for new unit about corporate own facilities. I had a climate control unit it was not clean with poor light. The back of the unit was not secure around the ground which let in all types of bugs and spiders luckily my things were wrapped secure and boxed well. I had to ask for the air to be turned on that was never problem before when you have nice items/furniture you pay to preserve it!! I had no issues with the rate but you could see the tenant rental was down that was obvious! so I guess this was away to make up revenue by overcharging the few tenants they had. I did find a new facility less than a mile away with good rates !! very clean same type of unit. There good facilities out there in the OKC area you have shop around. I am very happy with my new unit! Just beware this company is out of the Southeast part of the country not sure how the company does business but this was just unacceptable for me!! Being new to OKC area Morning Star should have reviewed the area and made pricing comparison because I sure did!! and I moved my stuff out!! Thank goodness so beware of this place stay away! it just a bad place since it became Morning Star! I predict the name and price will change again I am very please with my new facility !! read more
