On Sunday Tim and I were at a street fair, and a man with two Aussies stopped me to tell me that Tim had a great smile and looked like the happiest dog he'd ever seen. I got Tim from Morning Valley Berners on May 4, 2019. He was an adorable monster as a puppy, but has grown to be the happiest, friendliest, and most beautiful berner imaginable. Aside from seasonal allergies in the summer months (which are managed well with apoquel) he's been healthy, and I hope to keep him for many more years. We know a few berners at our dog park, but everyone kind of concedes that Tim is the standard the others are judged by. He has a marvelous double "Swiss Kiss" on the back of his head. I have no doubt he could be a show dog if I knew how to get involved. read more

I'm adding a couple more stars because after not hearing from Jason for 4+ months, he finally reached back out to me and returned 1/2 of my money. I still can't give him a good review because there were just too many issues and frustrations. He only reached out and returned the money he promised when he was contacted by the BBB. And he didn't follow through on paying 1/2 the transportation fees as promised. I tried to do the right thing by the puppy but I should have just sold him/regimes him myself. read more

In short, don't waste your time with this breeder. He lies. I just wish I'd known before I invested so much time and fell in love with the pup he had advertised. I called about her and initially he was very helpful. I was super impressed. We wanted a few days to think it over and he said that was fine I asked if anyone else had shown interest in the pup yet and he said no but (without me asking him to do this) immediately promised that if anyone else would ask about her, he would call me and let me know so I have first chance. I really appreciated that - I definitely wouldn't have expected him to do that for me. So I didn't panic on making the decision - my husband and I took a few days to talk about it and how it would get along with our other dog etc (unfortunately we had to have our one dog put down due to brain lesions and our Miska was lonely without her sister so we were looking for another friend for her). We didn't want to rush into it and wanted to be sure it was the right time for miska etc. So a few days later I text him. He didn't reply. I looked up the website again and saw that the pup was no longer advertised. I was shocked! I text again, and again. I called. Multiple times. Left messages. Emailed. No reply. And then he started hitting "ignore" as soon as it would ring when I called him. I'm guessing he sold the pup and didn't keep his word to me about letting me know if anyone else asked about her and he doesn't want to admit that he lied. What a coward. And how unprofessional. As I said - I would have never asked him to hold the pup while we decide - I understand he can't do that. But the fact that he OFFERED without me asking, then went back on his word... Wow. There's another review on here about how he lied to a single mom and cheated her out of money as well. Don't trust him. There's glowing reviews on his website (I'd bet half of them are fake) but I left a review and they won't publish it - he must've deleted it or something.
