It has shrimp, chicken and pork. They add onions and peppers. I decided to add some fried porkbelly. Trust me. It was banging. Oh, they have delicious pig trotters and hog mog. Which happens to be pork intestines. Don't knock it until you try it. They give you very large portions. As you walk into Key Foods you are greeted by the guys. Everyone is friendly. I love the praise music they play. All the veggies and meats are ripe and fresh. You are greeted by everyone as you enter and exit the store. The store is international. As they carry Spanish, Mexican, and Caribbean Foods and seasonings. They carry frozen seafood. But they have a large assortment of fresh seafood. The hot food station is my spot. They serve Spanish and Dominican Foods. Everything is good. When you're in Manchester, CT please visit Key Foods. It is an awesome spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner for all my Yelpers. Let's continue to eat our way through the world.

But if you walk to the far left side of the market in search of the restrooms, you'll see a sign and a downward staircase that will bring you here. It carries food items from Spain, Italy, and the Mediterranean area. Lots of canned fish, pasta, oils, vinegars, crackers, sauces, olives , meats and cheese and the like. It reminded me a lot of the little grocery store inside the old Costa Del Sol restaurant. There were some freebie cheese and cracker samples, and a sweet and friendly young lady there to greet us. We were the only one in the store, and I sure hope the market adds The Grocer to their website and list of vendors to encourage more customers to visit. Surprising to us, was that the pricing was very reasonable!! We picked up a jar of fig jam for $6.49 and a big 25 ounce jar of Fra Diavlo sauce for $4.99. I am certain that every future trip we make to the Parkville Market will end with a walk down that staircase into the Grocer. Hope to see you there !

They have…read morespecialty food items such as thin-sliced Iberico Chorizo, "intensely" flavored Spanish Olive Oil, Pure Vermont Maple Syrup, chocolate, black rice, fresh pasta, vinegars, cheese, jarred olives and peppers and splurge beverages. The Grocer is too small to provide a one stop shopping experience. Rather, you're more likely to go there when you're already at the Market and you need a few high end items for guests or niche home cooking. Example, if you're cooking a Spanish-themed meal and you want better sherry vinegar and Spanish olive oil than you can buy at your near home grocery, you can get that at the Parkville Market Grocer. That can be very convenient.

The parking area is large and offers Plenty of parking. It definitely has that fishy smell when you first walk in, but feel that means you can tell the fish is fresh. Parking was plentiful in the plaza. Once you walk in, you get that Asian market odor lol. There's a very clean, organized, and with lots of variety fish counter. I definitely would buy my seafood there. There were produce with a variety of different fruits and veggies that you can't find in your typical grocery store; I purchased some rambutan on this visit. There were seasonings, a small selection of noodles, and other products. It's not just Asian items but Latin, Caribbean, African, and more. There were dairy products and a bunch of snacks too. Service was good and it wasn't too crowded in there. Overall, a good spot to get some ethnic food items.
