She'll cheerfully wrap your sausage right there and might even flash you her ankles. The applesauce brats were killer. The meatloaf was standard. We didn't have time to do a lot of shopping, but I could tell Dutch Valley Meats was the bacon around the Arthur Amish fillet. A wonderful shop in a town of wonderful folks. We'll be back.

The Stallion has an Italian dressing drizzle that just tops it off perfectly. The 6 inch size is perfect for one person or find a friend to get a different one to go halvsies with. They have an amazing looking meat/butcher case, as well as a nice sized store for your other grocery needs. They also have a vegetable/fruit fridge area and a fridge full of gluten free options. That's awesome! As for the service, they couldn't have been friendlier. The small fine-in area is great if you want to enjoy your food before heading back out to wherever you are headed. The store is super-clean and well organized to find whatever you need. I am so happy to add this place and wished we lived closer. I also picked up some of their store-made hot dogs to try later. They have a number of raw ingredient products at very cheap prices; variety of oats and other grains, sugar, as well as a large selection of confection ingredients and spices. H & R also serves sandwiches throughout the day. They have a deli service and sell Troyer brand meats and cheeses which are rich and tasty. The store is closed on Sundays and Thursdays. Please drive with extreme caution since the Amish still use horses as their primary means of transportation in this area.
