I was very happy with my choice! The staff was so nice and attentive, very personable and no one tried to sell me on additional services like sometimes happens. They were also very efficient, my appointment was for a routine cleaning and I don't think the entire appointment took over an hour, and that includes filling out the new patient forms. I left their office with very white teeth as well, I really think they are whiter than they've ever been after a cleaning and I had no whitening treatments done. I think they are just talented and thorough! Hard to ask for much more in a dentist!

I hate to leave a bad review but I honestly don't want anyone to go through what I went through so…read morehere it goes: I saw Dr. Headley yesterday for a filling and the entire time, he and his assistant were saying "wow it looks so good, I can't even see the difference" and I honestly thought I was crazy when I looked in the mirror because the filling looked so bad to me. I thought that was just how it was supposed to look. I FaceTimed my dad who is also a dentist afterwards and he told me no, if I'm unhappy with it, I should get it fixed or he'll fix it for me next time I go home. I called back this morning to give them a chance to fix it and was told by Dr Headley himself that there is no other shade available, he would not be able to fix it, and I'd have to pay out of pocket for a specialty clinic that does not accept insurance and that this is the best shade match for me. I sought out a second opinion at the Hoover location and they were able to fit me in same day and fix it for free. I'm leaving the pictures below. I understand I was extra picky because it's my front teeth and it affects my smile and daily confidence but I think the difference is insane. I can't believe he didn't tell me to just go get a whiter shade and made me think it wasn't fixable.

I have seen quite a few dentists and been quoted 50 and 75 thousand dollars to " truly " fix my teeth. I have been told it would be a fix that may need re fixing after 10 or so years. I have never showed my teeth or smiled with an open mouth. The very first time I met with Dr Pruitt and his staff, I was completely at ease. They took the time to explain my options, and helped me through being able to secure financial options that I could afford. The very first day after I left his office I went to wal mart and 2 different ladies stopped me and told me I had "beautiful teeth"!! I have never in 59 years ever heard someone say something positive about my smile!! I wish I had done this 40 years ago! I highly recommend them! They promised a life changing experience! They have definitely delivered!!!!! Thank you so much for giving me the confidence that I have never had!!!!

Dr. Pruitt completely ruined my teeth. He said "trust me,…read moretrust me" .... And I did. **check Reddit for more *real* reviews on this guy!!!! ** Dr Pruitt shaved down my teeth & gums down to almost nothing. He never properly addressed my problems, instead pushed blame, and lied to my face. I'm not sure he even knows ANYTHING about real dentistry to be honest.. he is EXTREMELY aggressive - leaving me in A LOTTTTTT of pain after each visit, and almost always, an infection. Dr. Pruitt also REFUSES to ever take accountability for his wrongdoings. Red flag right there He cared more about what my reaction would be for the camera rolling (after waiting 1hr in the chair being told not to look "he wants to see my reaction" btw) - then my genuine care and comfort of a new, "amazing quality, healthy smile" - I knew I was in serious trouble.. After leaving his work unfinished - even after a second attempt, with a second set of PERMANENT crowns(and multiple temporaries) I will still need them ALL completely redone. The problems he was suppose to fix with the second set of perms, I have begun having the same issues, the problem is STILL not resolved. Almost a year later! Dr. Pruitt denied me a refund, but he made sure he had me sign a piece of paper denying ANY wrongdoings - even after giving me laughing gas, and novacane (keep in mind, I had no teeth in my mouth- just the grinded stumps he left in my mouth) and I was too numb to explain myself (i had Theresa go back 3 times to fix the paper before I gave up) I Traveled to Alabama, from NY a total of - SEVEN TIMES!!! And LOST close to 100k$ in the process!!!!! he promised to take care of "my nightmare", but the nightmare really had just begun. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! He is NOT who he portrays to be. Use your discernment with this guy, seriously.. he did serious damage to me, for life.

My family had gone to Vestavia Dental for years -- Dr. Tucker was awesome. To this day, the staff…read moreand hygienists are all very friendly and efficient. Several years ago, Dr. Tucker retired and sold the practice to another dentist. It seems like the practice changed hands a few times, as I felt like I saw a different dentist every visit for a while. While I was in college, I got some new retainers made by Dr. Tucker to help with grinding teeth at night, etc. The invisalign machine came with 4 sets of these retainers. I took two of the sets home with me, and the staff assured me that they would keep the other two sets safe for when I needed them down the road. As I was in college at the time, moving around a lot, I agreed that that sounded like the safer option. After Dr. Tucker's departure, I inquired about by retainers, and the new staff informed me that anything they had kept for anybody was gone, and nobody knows where it went. No clue who - if anybody - is at fault here, but it's upsetting to me that something of mine, that was not cheap, was lost. In addition to the retainers, I found myself getting contrary advice about the types of fillings that Dr. Tucker did. I got some silver fillings, which Dr. Tucker assured me were the better option as they would last longer, about 20 years. Now, maybe 4 years later, I'm hearing that I need to redo these fillings. The people here are great! Appointments run very smoothly, everything is very comfortable. Due to this string of events, I have decided to seek dental work elsewhere, and get a fresh perspective on the silver fillings.
