I've had Invisalign since returning and my regular maintenance. I've also started using a Flaus flosser and NOBS toothpaste which has been a game changer. My last visit was the best progress report my gums/teeth have ever gotten and may I say that I actually love going to the dentist now?! I was also made aware that Dr. Jackie does ortho treatment and decided to schedule an appointment. Made the appointment for a cleaning and ortho consultation. On the day of my appointment I arrived on time. Everything seemed to be going smooth until I gave the receptionist my address. I was then interrogated with questions like "Why are you coming here" and "Why did you come back". There was no thank you for returning or we appreciate you being a loyal patient. Almost felt condemned about my choice to return. It caught me off guard but I explained how I liked Dr Jackie and how I really felt comfortable with her service. The receptionist kind of just stared and said "oh ok". I get to the back and I thought I was taking regular X-rays and I was told the images were for the ortho consult. I apologized for the confusion and explained that I moved forward with another Dr. for ortho and just needed the cleaning done. I also explained during a confirmation call that I no longer needed the ortho treatment just the cleaning. The hygienist returned with the receptionist and she said "I'm confused on why you're here". I explained again for cleaning services. She said "well you went to all these places how do we know if your insurance will cover the X-ray". I explained to her those Xrays were done by orthodontist and that's just a panel view not a dental X-ray and I paid for that out of pocket. She went on and on about my last dentist and you went to so many prior dentist and I don't understand why you're here. At that moment I didn't know why I was there allowing her to speak to me like a child. I said "can you call met life and see when the last submission for X-rays was". She said no and gave an exhausted explanation about her having to call my prior dentist. Mind you I went to one orthodontist who I moved forward with treatment with and my prior dentist who I mistaken my last appointment date. After I left I called met life to confirm all service submissions and come to find out I was actually seen the end of last year so none of my money was used nor has anyone submitted anything for payment. I'm sure the receptionist could've done that. Anyway, I told her I would reschedule and just her lack of professionalism threw me off. Does it matter if I drove from Brentwood? All you need to know is I like Dr Jackie and it's not coming out of your pocket. I sat in my car for five minutes going over in my head if I should walk away or stay and deal with the rude receptionist because I like Dr. Jackie's work. Just knowing I would have to deal with the receptionist made me walk back in thank her and told her I'll just keep my previous Dr. It was no "let me change your mind" no "how can we keep you as a patient". She has the nerve to wink and said okay. No care in the world. Wasted gas, toll and time. Worst part is I lost a great dentist like Dr.Jackie.

In early 2025 I started going to N Street Dental, never once did I miss an appointment, loved my appointments. February 2026 comes around, my dog was at Sage and I forgot about the appointment. N Street called and the woman asked me if I was coming to my appointment, I told her my dog was sick and we were at Sage; she had a nasty tone " YOUR DOG IS SICK. You will need to pay a $75 cancellation fee before you can be rescheduled." Never once did she ask for receipts or even a doctor's note, she was rude and short. SHAME ON YOU, N Street. I was going to go at lunch and pay the fee and reschedule but considering I have a senior dog, and the dog that was at Sage (still has medical issues), and myself with my own medical issues, you are a horrible company for people with pets and medical problems. I even planned to spend more this year, even got an HSA to help me with all the planned procedures, with my insurance, and also out of pocket payment. Do better. Be kinder.

Was seen in maybe May/July, currently in August and still haven't been treated yet despite following the proper channels with appointments. They also messed up my wife billing several times, she was stressed over this but was finally able to solved it months later. I'll recommend going elsewhere where the front office staff knows what they are doing. Otherwise, the service they provide is probably on par with the other dental office. I just don't understand, I made an appointment, which means I committed to that appointment. This visit, however, was not your average dental situation. I somehow managed to get a ring stuck on my finger to the point where it swelled up to the point of no return. I tried everything--ice water, elevation, the dental floss trick, crying, prayers... nothing worked. Enter Dr. Meade, my unexpected hero. He was able to cleanly cut the ring off, immediately relieve the swelling, and preserve my ring so it can be repaired. And while I was not-- he was very calm, precise, and reassuring the whole time. If you can't get to the ER or a jewelry shop and need someone who's steady-handed under pressure, this is your guy. Dentist by trade, digit defender by circumstance. Overall, this was a very bad experience for me. I have anxiety about the dentist. Dr Cervantes was always gentle and aware and helped me better my dental hygiene. Today, however, the cleaning started, and I don't think the tech had even read my chart. After the cleaning, which was painful and I did not get a flossing or the normal medicine, I met a new doctor. If I would have known what I was walking into for this apptmtn, I could have mentally prepared myself. However, to walk into this unprepared with anxiety, was horrible. I went to my car afterwards and cried. I will not be going back. Ithink Bianca is still there and she is excellent with anxiety, but I felt so embarrassed and somewhat taken advantage of that I will be getting a new dentist.
