He pulled up my old quote and told me that I would need to pay half up front $2300. I ask him why is that that is not what it was back in Sept. First he says "it a new policy", then I said since when. He then said "since September 2025". "Oh, how could that be when they gave me the price I told you". Get this he then said "Oh, they weren't really enforcing the policies back then". I asked to speak to a supervisor he put me on hold for a couple of minutes, then he can back, and said "there is no one else to talk to that what it his, and he's the highest I can go. So, he is Mr. Dentist of Vallejo. I dont think so that would be the district manager, and the Dental Board of California rude dude. These ppl have unscrupulous business practices. If I tell you what I want, and what I can't afford they continue to still badger and persuade you about a higher price denture. Furthermore, I already had x-ray from another dentist that told me I didn't need extractions. This dentist in Sept told me my dentist was wrong. When I told her I was not getting them she got an attitude. Why would I get my teeth pulled if it wasn't necessary. Overall, this was a very bad experience for me. I have anxiety about the dentist. Dr Cervantes was always gentle and aware and helped me better my dental hygiene. Today, however, the cleaning started, and I don't think the tech had even read my chart. After the cleaning, which was painful and I did not get a flossing or the normal medicine, I met a new doctor. If I would have known what I was walking into for this apptmtn, I could have mentally prepared myself. However, to walk into this unprepared with anxiety, was horrible. I went to my car afterwards and cried. I will not be going back. Jean at the front desk is very helpful explaining the dental options and insurance numbers. The dental assistants are charming, friendly and quick. I was trying to check them for wedding rings in hopes for my single son. I'm sad yet happy to report they all wear gloves. The best though to me was Dr. Castillo. A refreshingly honest man. He actually told me that I could put the dental work off for the time being. Oh Doctor. By the way. I believe a bit of a pad attached to the top and or bottom of your front door might help alleviate that horrible metal on metal slamming noise made every time the front door closes. Said he didn't know why I was in pain and to deal with it. Well one night my crown fell off and I searched online and found Dr. Yee! I called Dr. Yee's office and they got me the next day. One look at my tooth and Dr. Yee was able to identify the problem with my crown and fixed it in less than 20 minutes. The office staff is always so pleasant and the dental hygienists are so gentle yet thorough with their cleanings!
