From the moment I stepped into the office, I knew this wasn't just any routine visit. The atmosphere? Elegant, relaxed, and effortlessly comfortable. The professionalism? Impeccable. The technology? State-of-the-art. Now, let me tell you something....I'm past 50 plus years old and never in my life have I experienced such peace during a dental procedure, let alone one involving drilling and Novocain. And get this I actually fell asleep in the chair That's right, I was so at ease that I dozed off mid-procedure. Apparently, that's the ultimate compliment in the dental world and trust me, Dr. Alex Chaney and his team deserve it. If you're looking for a dentist who redefines what it means to care for your teeth while making you feel like royalty in the process, Dr. Alex Chaney is the one. I would definitely recommend Crossroads Dental. I have been a patient here for approximately 15…read moreyears and have absolutely no complaints. Dr. Bahraini is thorough, attentive, kind, and always a pleasure to work with. Sonia, who does everything with a smile, is an absolute professional and, in my opinion, the heart of this office. She is one of the main reasons I have remained with Crossroads for so many years. She is a pleasure to be around, and I always know that when she is helping me, my dental needs will be handled carefully and thoroughly. Going to the dentist is generally not at the top of anyone's list of fun activities, but I always know that I will be treated well and that my concerns will be addressed. I have had extensive dental work completed here, and everything has been handled with professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail. Dr. Randawa recently completed my Invisalign treatment, and I am extremely happy with the results. Whenever I see him, I know I will receive top-notch professional care. I am very grateful to the entire team and highly recommend this office.

I can't say enough good things about Meade Family Dental in Benicia. I've seen Dr. Meade before for…read moredental work and he's always done a fantastic job. This visit, however, was not your average dental situation. I somehow managed to get a ring stuck on my finger to the point where it swelled up to the point of no return. I tried everything--ice water, elevation, the dental floss trick, crying, prayers... nothing worked. Enter Dr. Meade, my unexpected hero. He was able to cleanly cut the ring off, immediately relieve the swelling, and preserve my ring so it can be repaired. And while I was not-- he was very calm, precise, and reassuring the whole time. If you can't get to the ER or a jewelry shop and need someone who's steady-handed under pressure, this is your guy. Dentist by trade, digit defender by circumstance. Thank you, Dr. Meade--you're awesome! Highly recommend

Patient provided Dentist with records and recent x-rays prior to initial consultation because…read moreInsurance has yearly limits for certain x-rays and services. We DEMANDED and REQUIRED WRITTEN PRE-AUTHORIZATION AND PRE-DETERMINATION prior to any treatment to ensure no "surprise billing" and to stay within yearly insurance maximum. It was clearly documented on the patient intake form and billing contract they require you to sign (‼read the patient pay responsibility before signing) The dentist performed the first dental procedure, soon thereafter realized that we did not receive pre-authorization and pre-determination. When I asked for a copy later, I was told they couldn't provide it after the service was already done. The issues continued with December 2025 cleaning. Upon reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOB), discovered: A cleaning was performed during a separate dental work appointment without patient knowledge, which exhausted insurance benefits for the year. Consequently, December cleaning was not covered. The office billed for X-rays in December 2025 that were explicitly declined because we already made 2026 Dental appointments at a different facility and provider due to dental office' lack of transparency and communication. Formal grievance and dispute were filed with insurance and notified the Dental billing office, zero response or resolution from the dentist's side. Scheduling Irregularities Most recently, received an alarming appointment reminder for Monday, 4/20/2026 for an appointment the patient did not schedule because of work schedule conflict. ‼ Advice for Future Patients: DEMAND and REQUIRE WRITTEN Pre-Authorization and pre-determination for every treatment before it begins. Verify In-Network Status: Confirm every charge against your yearly maximum benefit. Document Everything: If you write specific requirements on their digital or paper intake forms, take a photo of it immediately. Do not rely on the office to track your specific billing constraints. Check your EOBs: Always cross-reference your insurance statements with the work actually performed to catch unauthorized billing.

Overall, this was a very bad experience for me. I have anxiety about the dentist. Dr Cervantes was always gentle and aware and helped me better my dental hygiene. Today, however, the cleaning started, and I don't think the tech had even read my chart. After the cleaning, which was painful and I did not get a flossing or the normal medicine, I met a new doctor. If I would have known what I was walking into for this apptmtn, I could have mentally prepared myself. However, to walk into this unprepared with anxiety, was horrible. I went to my car afterwards and cried. I will not be going back. Ithink Bianca is still there and she is excellent with anxiety, but I felt so embarrassed and somewhat taken advantage of that I will be getting a new dentist.

I was also made aware that Dr. Jackie does ortho treatment and decided to schedule an appointment. Made the appointment for a cleaning and ortho consultation. On the day of my appointment I arrived on time. Everything seemed to be going smooth until I gave the receptionist my address. I was then interrogated with questions like "Why are you coming here" and "Why did you come back". There was no thank you for returning or we appreciate you being a loyal patient. Almost felt condemned about my choice to return. It caught me off guard but I explained how I liked Dr Jackie and how I really felt comfortable with her service. The receptionist kind of just stared and said "oh ok". I get to the back and I thought I was taking regular X-rays and I was told the images were for the ortho consult. I apologized for the confusion and explained that I moved forward with another Dr. for ortho and just needed the cleaning done. I also explained during a confirmation call that I no longer needed the ortho treatment just the cleaning. The hygienist returned with the receptionist and she said "I'm confused on why you're here". I explained again for cleaning services. She said "well you went to all these places how do we know if your insurance will cover the X-ray". I explained to her those Xrays were done by orthodontist and that's just a panel view not a dental X-ray and I paid for that out of pocket. She went on and on about my last dentist and you went to so many prior dentist and I don't understand why you're here. At that moment I didn't know why I was there allowing her to speak to me like a child. I said "can you call met life and see when the last submission for X-rays was". She said no and gave an exhausted explanation about her having to call my prior dentist. Mind you I went to one orthodontist who I moved forward with treatment with and my prior dentist who I mistaken my last appointment date. After I left I called met life to confirm all service submissions and come to find out I was actually seen the end of last year so none of my money was used nor has anyone submitted anything for payment. I'm sure the receptionist could've done that. Anyway, I told her I would reschedule and just her lack of professionalism threw me off. Does it matter if I drove from Brentwood? All you need to know is I like Dr Jackie and it's not coming out of your pocket. I sat in my car for five minutes going over in my head if I should walk away or stay and deal with the rude receptionist because I like Dr. Jackie's work. Just knowing I would have to deal with the receptionist made me walk back in thank her and told her I'll just keep my previous Dr. It was no "let me change your mind" no "how can we keep you as a patient". She has the nerve to wink and said okay. No care in the world. Wasted gas, toll and time. Worst part is I lost a great dentist like Dr.Jackie.
