The treatment went well and they were upfront about the charges and what my insurance would and would not cover. The lady who runs the front desk is very professional and gave me a list of options to choose from for my treatment and payment. The schedule was a little hectic but the surgeons practice at several locations and sometimes run late taking care of emergencies with other patients in other clinics. On my last visit, patients started leaving and rescheduling before the doctor finally made it in ... 4/5 stars Only because their scheduled appointments have a tendency to run late.

I told the girl an antibiotic I could take she asked the doctor he called it in but said it probably won't work. I asked to leave a message for him to call me. Again put on hold. Then I get a girl who does consults. I had to tell the whole story again. Asked again to leave the doctor a message. No dice. She said she relays messages to him. I said I need to talk to him. She wouldn't leave him a message. DO NOT GO THERE YOU CANT TALK TO THE DOCTOR. now I have pain swelling all the way up to my eye socket. Another call to the consultant person. She said he goes through her and doesn't do calls. Finally after all this they agreed to ask him to call me first thing in the morning. We will see. I highly doubt it don't know if it is the doctor or the office staff but it is impossible to leave a message to talk to the dentist. Took me all afternoon for the consult person Leslie to agree to give him a message. They told me I could come in. I live in Danville have to take the BUS service it cost me $100 out of pocket to ride there. I told them that. Still repeatedly ask to leave a message for him. Paid $815. Out of pocket to them. For that you would think you could leave a message and talk to the dentist. Not until all afternoon on the phone and repeatedly asking will they give him a message. Attached is a photo of the bruise on my jaw now a week later. Mind you it was top teeth I had pulled. Told them that too today. This man isn't God you should be able to get a return phone call after repeatedly. Next morning. Was told byLesley the consult worker late yesterday the Dr would call me this morning at 8:30 before he saw patients. No call. I called at 9:00. The front desk girl to me he said he is too busy to talk to me and for them to handle it. They don't know what antibiotic to tell me I should take. DO NOT GO HERE. While my children were getting their teeth cleaned, another family arrived. The littler boy was very shy and the dental hygienist went out of her way to make him comfortable. Safety measures are in place at this office. You must call when you arrive to limit capacity and for COVID-19 screening questions. When the staff is ready for you, you walk inside and get your temperature checked. Everyone is spaced apart and dividers are in place to ensure patients are separated from one another. While there is usually a play room and lots of old and new video games, they have all been removed due to COVID-19. I look forward to their return one day. Nonetheless, this is still a very kid friendly space.

My son has now been coming here for about two years for twice yearly check-ups! I am impressed with the friendly staff, the facility, and Dr. Steckler himself! The waiting room includes a sea-themed playroom for kids attached to the typical waiting space. The staff is always happy and able to help in any way they can. Dr. Steckler is very friendly and personable (on our last visit, he noticed my son's new light-up shoes and got him excited), completely understands kids, and is very easy-going. I also love that all dental work is done in one open room, so everyone can see everything going on and it cuts back on any unease for kids and parents. After the appointment, kids get to pick a small toy and a toothbrush, which is always fun! My kid always leaves with a smile.

She is always so kind and upbeat. Very rarely do I ever see her without a smile on her face. I have seen 3 different techs: Tristan, Laurie & Angie. Every single one of them have been kind, amazing, thorough and professional. I have gotten to know them and they have always made me feel welcome and like family. Tiffany, one of the checkout gals, has also been very nice and kind. She has always been willing to help out me and my husbands billing issues or just general questions. Dr Thompson has been my Dentist throughout this time as well. He has seen me through removing my wisdom teeth, cavities, Invisalign, whitening my teeth and just overall teeth health. I recommend him as a great Dentist. Their facilities are always clean, including their bathroom.
