Morgan and Morgan took my case in 2018. After MM made an irreversible mistake on my injury case, they wanted to settle in May 2021. It is now May 2023. I have not received a penny. I was relentlessly harassed and now, am being completely ignored. I sent direct email to both John and Dan Morgan stating I want a transparent communication without harassment and that I desperately needed the settlement money for the treatments for my injuries to help recover so I can return to work asap. Dan Morgan cold-heartedly emailed me to get an attorney and to stop communicating with anyone at MM even when I repeatedly told them I do not wish to get an attorney to resolve the settlement. MM gave me the option to settle directly or get an attorney for the settlement. I chose direct settlement. But because I was bombarded with blatant deceitful lies by MM to manipulate the settlement outcome, I asked for transparent communication to reach a fair settlement as well as to prevent them from denying the lies. They have already done so to the response to the complaint I filed with Florida State Bar. But they will do ANYTHING to avoid this and I was asked to get an attorney and now being completely ignored by the company. It is ironic that one of the largest injury attorney company Morgan and Morgan is now injuring its own client in the most brutal way. The emotional distress they caused was so overwhelming it nearly destroyed me. But what hurts me the most is the fact I am unable to care for my aging mother. I had insurance to protect my family and myself for a reason. The basic summary of what I experienced about Morgan and Morgan is this: If they mess up your case and need to settle, they have no intention of being fair during the settlement process. They have a proven strategy in place - 1. force the client to get an attorney so they can fight the settlement in court. Or, 2. send the case over to mediation. In both cases, the burden of proof will be suddenly placed on the client - a job Morgan and Morgan was tasked to do. Either way, they will hide behind the attorneys or the mediator and conveniently side 100% with the insurance company and make the injured clients fight for the settlement money. I initially had so much respect for the company and for John Morgan. His narrative sounded genuine and heroic. I respected his vision and what he stood for. But I was shocked to find this was all a grand façade. What they promise, they would never deliver. It was so shocking to me that they will practice such a blatant fraud so shamelessly. I feel bad for the employees for Morgan and Morgan for being forced to become the accomplice to the company's unethical practices. I am getting the exact opposite of what they promise to their clients. Please look at some of the things they promise on their website and what I got instead: 1. Their Promise: You should never settle for less than you deserve. The price for pain is infinite, and that's why we will fight for full and fair compensation for you. What I got: They wish to give nothing for my pain and suffering - complete opposite of infinite. They also made it clear they won't be responsible for the enormous amount of pain and suffering they caused me themselves through their relentless harassment. 2. Their Promise: AN ARMY OF ATTORNEYS ON YOUR SIDE. What I got: They use their army of attorneys against me, the injured helpless client who desperately needs help. 3. Their Promise: You shouldn't have to fight a bully by yourself. Not only are we willing to fight for you, but we have the resources to take on the biggest bullies in America What I got: I, the injured client they are supposed to help, ended up being forced to fight the biggest bully - Morgan and Morgan 4. Their promise: FAMILY PROTECTING FAMILIES. Morgan & Morgan began after John Morgan hired the wrong lawyer for his injured brother Tim. Ever since then, we have fought to preserve our clients' dignity. Because, to us, you are Tim. And you are family for life What I got: They don't care about my dignity or my injuries. They have no issue throwing my family and me onto the streets facing starvation. Once there is no profit, their 'family member' suddenly become their trash. They are now using the excuse that I am no longer their client. There is no limit to their shamelessness. This review is most certainly the very first I have ever written for any business, company or personal reason so I plan on being specific and giving the best description of my experience with Heather from Morgan&Morgan as possible without having to write a short memoir, because if 'I' am willing to write a review, that means some kind of miracle has been worked or something close of the nature, lol. I got into a wreck back in December of 2017 down in Florida involving my friends vehicle that I was driving for work purposes and got into a wreck with another co-worker on the way to the job site where the whole incident was just insane involving a school Bus, multiple vehicles and intense breath-holding moments. So to save you some time of reading, long story short, the co-worker had run into my vehicle in the center median because of a school bus being in the right lane and all the vehicles around it not paying attention slamming on their brakes and causing everyone to swerve in desperation to miss each other. I only got to go to the hospital a couple of times because of how bad the wreck was. I had to move back to Georgia with my family because I have lost my job my transportation and a really close friend because of the wreck. I had some friends that said they knew how to do the paperwork and would save me a lot of money but they would not start on it so after about a month of waiting I couldn't do it no more and I hit up Morgan & Morgan and to make things very simple and clear, that was the best choice I could have made as far as an attorney goes. The Florida Morgan & Morgan office helped me get a worker's compensation check to help me pay for some of my bills but it still did not clear anything up and I get a message from Heather saying that we are going to work on the other insurance to help me take care of the rest of my bills and hopefully give me a little bit more money get me in the satisfactory area so that at the end of all this I didn't lose everything I lost for nothing and at least I can have a little bit of comfort when the smoke clears. Heather has bent over backwards and worked through tooth and nail to make sure that I am in a good position when all this is over and she has done it in an amount of time that I find surprising as well as more than satisfactory. The thing about going to a law firm for workers compensation or for insurance purposes is that the person going to them is just wanting their money's worth and communication on updates with everything going on and Heather has stayed in communication with me this whole time responded almost immediately if not within a couple days with her very busy schedule and I do not want to carry this out much longer but she has done so much for me and put so much time and effort into my case that it is surprisingly overwhelming sometimes to know how much she actually cared for me and my situation. If you would have asked me before I called Morgan & Morgan what I think is going to happen I would have said they're just going to do the paperwork take over half my money and take forever to do it and act like they actually did something when they just wanted an extra dime in their pocket but now that I have actually went with Morgan & Morgan and used them as an option, I could not be more thankful or appreciative of such a great and organized Law Firm as well as business.
