Had some issues from the beginning with lack of communication. Because of the lack of communication, I had to send my own paperwork in to request the type of hearing I would prefer since the letter said I only had 10 days to respond and they never responded to my several messages. I left a one-star review previously due to the communication nonsense, then a very nice lady calls me and tells me she's changing my case manager over to a different lady "Amber". I boosted the rating to a five-star because of how awesome she was. Then the new lady she assigned, lied to me stating that I couldn't change my mind on the type of hearing I would like to have. I had a major motorcycle accident in which I was hit and severely injured by the other party and left me with over $250,000 in medical debt jus for the hospitals visit (not the years worth of recovery). They did not do anything more than haggle with the insurance company. Continuously tried to pressure me into signing documents (which I had the sense not to sign). At one point they wanted me sign a $10K deal....i refused...then made a $50K deal....i refused.....then finally offered $100K in which they reinforced the idea that I would not see any more than that. I asked since the girl was 17 could the parents be held responible. They told me no and used the analogy of a kid having a handgun and said that a parent can't be held reliable if they shot someone, I disagreed but trusted their words (afterward I found this not true). After signing for the measly $100K they took %33 leaving me with $60,000 in rewards and still over $250,000. Through the process not once did the lawyer attempt to actually speak with me only the paralegal. I finally demanded that I speak with the lawyer. Just another white collar filling his pockets. I did all the work provided everything, the only thing the lawyer did was get the police report and then wrote a demand letter with the wrong street of the accident . Now waiting in the DHS forum to vine through -- I was never on welfare or cash assistance never heard of a running a DHS run and now since supposedly DHS was supposedly down for 4 weeks I have to wait for my settlement money for another 3 months after waiting 2 months. Avoid at all costs. Tried to work with Morgan & Morgan for my sister's slip and fall injury case. We wen't through 4 case managers. Never heard from any of them and had to call to try to get updates over the past year. They took a year to decide to not represent my sister. It's totally unacceptable to hold up a case for a year while they decide whether to even take on the case. They should've been able to figure that out within a week after we first called them. Instead, they never returned calls and gave us the run-around on who was actually handling our case. We contracted with Morgan & Morgan around this time last year. My sister had slipped on mud that was in the driveway at the bottom of the front door entrance of a friend's house. She suffered a very serious trimalleolar ankle fracture. Medical expenses were over $140k. She was in the hospital for a month, then in a rehab facility for another 2 months. Couldn't walk or work for 6 months. In our experience, it was clear Morgan & Morgan only wants to work with clients where they can make the most with the least amount of effort.
