My car is not the nicest. What can I say, I like beaters!…read more I took my 2001 Honda Civic to this place with a specific problem of overheating. I suspected a leak as the coolant had been requiring replenishing over the course of two weeks. I also requested he check out my front end, my alignment had been pretty funky since an impact earlier that year. He found a leaky hose, which he replaced, then flushed the system as well as checking the fan. All of this was performed after he spoke with me with a verbal explanation of the issues as well as an accurate estimate of repairs and labor. When I picked my car up I inquired about the front end work. Tony's response was, ahem, quite frank. "You need struts on both ends, a new axle, something about a bolt....(I made that last one up), you need a new car". I expected something to that effect, I was hoping it would be a little ways away though. That directness was very much appreciated from someone who had everything to gain from a nickel and dime scheme. There could have been a replacement here and a repair there which led to an eventual small fortune being spent on a car that is not worth it. So I'm saving up and if my new car needs anything I'll be back!

I always read reviews before requesting any type of service. I was in a tight spot financially and…read moreso I sought recommendations online for a mechanic that was both honest and that did quality work. 3 reviews came up and I felt that Mike's Service Station sounded the best. Once I gave Mike the information on the car, I began walking home knowing it would be at minimum an hour or so to fix the issue which according to initial diagnostics, appeared to be a bad starter motor. I was no more than half way home and my phone rings. My car was ready! How could that be? It turned to be a piece of plastic that should have been removed when the battery was installed .... 3 YEARS AGO! I should never have been able to drive the car with that piece of hard plastic on the positive terminal and I've been to mechanics who would have taken advantage of the situation. Not Mike! Talk about honest! He didn't charge me anything even to look at it. I must have some hard working angels. I offered to pay something for his time but he refused. I will be sending every person needing car repairs to Mike's. THANK YOU SO MUCH Mike!! You are a God send!!

I mean that is what I was thinking he must of been thinking otherwise he is just an arrogant and rude person. They didn't provide the service I was hoping for so can't say if they are good or not but by the owners vibe I wouldn't recommend.

Unfortunately, I'm still experiencing the same issue I came in with. Have decided for myself they're not worth the cost. They do work hard though, got the job done inside of two days. I guess when you're as busy as they are, you don't have to satisfy everybody.
