DO NOT USE!! I hired Morehands to clean my grandmothers apartment after she passed away because we were going through a very stressful time. They called me after being there for 20 minutes saying they had to cancel due to a roach/bug problem in her apartment complex, only to find out that they stole 2 of our wall plugs that we just put in the apartment the day before. I completely understand having to cancel, but stealing wall plugs is flat out wrong. I then let them know that we were missing the wall plugs, and they told me the following day that they were able to "retrieve them" basically admitting that their cleaning staff stole then. If you want an honest cleaning service, then DO NOT USE them!! read more

I requested a quote to have Morehands maid clean an empty rental property of mine for a "make ready" to sell and they just now responded back to me 7 months post the sell of my home to offer me some type of "cleaning special" they are running. Like why in the world would I even be interested in some sort of "cleaning special" when I couldn't even get them to respond to an actual cleaning request response they never even acknowledged or gave me in the 1st place??? I HIGHLY do NOT RECOMMEND cleaning services from this company whatsoever. MoreHands is servicing my home every month. The associates are professional and detail with the services that are provided. However, this past week, the team arrived and was not the associates that comes out on a regular. The ladies was rude and did not provide the services that I normally receive. Absolutely do not recommend! Save your $. We just got a home in Alden Bridge and as moving is stressful itself I expected the home that was empty at that point to be fully clean! We paid extra to have kitchen cabinets cleaned and it was gross, food stains on the backsplash, cabinets , not to mention the top of the kitchen cabinet had 3 layers of cob webs and dirt . Kitchen Island pendant lights had dust , I double whipped bamboo floors and it was black ! Microwave even had breadcrumbs crumbs in as a bonus! Glad we paid one time service to try them out before committing full time , so no keep scrolling because whoever cleaned our home has no concept of what clean really is . So as you can imagine I had to clean myself after they were in after paying over $400 . Especially if you're out of state and letting them in to " clean " while you're gone , bad idea I would definitely look for more reliable company. read more

I booked a move out cleaning for my home. I was worried about getting the movers, house cleaning, and carpet cleaners scheduled in a 2 day time frame. Knowing that things do not always go as scheduled, I was hoping that nothing would get thrown off. I had some errands to run so I could not be home to let the cleaning staff in. It was not a problem. A cleaning service who complains about cleaning?! We had a contract for the square footage of our house with a set price. Their service worked for awhile, but then they started complaining about our house being too messy (I have toddlers and it's nothing crazy, but what you would expect). I told them I understand they don't pick up anything, so to just clean around any toys etc. The last straw was when the manager called to say the maids were taking too long, so she was going to bill me extra. I said absolutely not, and that we would no longer be using their service. The maids that day were wonderful, but they pruned my plants and organized my cosmetics, so of course it took extra time. I waited writing this review until we switched companies and realized this is not normal. Poor management; do not recommend. read more

Maybe I am overly excited because I am coming off of a bad experience with another cleaning company, but I have to say - Morehands Maid Service was really great. I could have given 4 stars due to their higher pricing, but the convenience of booking online, customizing the order and paying by credit cards is a plus. I also like that they do quality control checks from time to time to keep standards up. So 5 stars it is. The team that came to clean my house was very courteous and were concerned over my trouble spots. I was super pleased that they worked so hard to correct a soap scum problem in my bath tubs due to poor service of the other maid company I was using. My tubs now sparkle!! Now granted they probably used some harsher chemicals to make it happen, but I didn't really care about that. Sometimes you got to do what you got to do.... There was a team of two women, they stayed for about 3-4 hours and went through my whole house top to bottom, dusting, wiping down all surfaces, mopping, vacuuming, etc. They just did a wonderful job. My house hasn't been this clean in a long time. Will they be back? You bet! read more

I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received from Morehands, absolutely phenomenal. I just moved to The Woodlands from the northeast and had just finished unpacking so my house wasn't exactly how I'd normally keep it. To add to the stress, my girlfriend was coming to visit on Friday afternoon and I didn't have time with the new job to give my apartment the attention it needed. I reached out to Morehands by phone on Wednesday and spoke with Travis who listened intently while I explained that my girlfriend was landing around 3pm so I really needed the house clean by 4pm at the latest. He said that it wouldn't be an issue and he'd make sure the house was done by 3pm. All honesty, I was a little worried about bringing her to see my new place for the first time and just hoping that some strangers had shown up and cleaned my place while I was at work. However, the cleaning ladies (Liz and Celia, if memory serves) arrived before I'd even left for the office, were extremely warm, polite, and professional and told me they would take care of everything. It was a huge weight off my shoulders to say the least! When we arrived at my house, it was SPOTLESS! All of the surfaces were clean, the carpet obviously vacuumed, the mirrors shining like new, etc. They even went so far as to fold the toilet paper on the roll like you might find in a hotel...girlfriend really thought I'd pulled out all the stops - I gave Morehands all credit though! Really, very happy with the service and the staff I encountered at Morehands and will be setting up automatic service with them going forward. Just really great work, give them a shot! I have used Morehands in the past (about 4 years ago) and was very pleased with them. It seems service is not what it used to be. Without going into the whole sordid affair, let's just say that the list I took time to send was not passed on to the correct people that actually DO the work. Sadly, the "Quality" person that came out at the request of the ladies that were to have cleaned, didn't do any better. So, I got charged $300 for a little light dusting, some mopping and for them to break a duck that my deceased father-in-law had carved. I prefer to clean my own home and had never used a maid service before this experience. However, I had (2) gift certificates for cleaning service (EACH for a 2 hour session with a 2 person team). Additionally, I had just had back surgery and could not do any of the work myself. All I asked was for the bed clothes to be changed and the bathrooms and floors cleaned. The team arrived 3 hours early and I was not prepared for their arrival (I would have washed the sheets that were already on the beds.) The fitted sheets were not pulled down over the mattresses (of all 3 beds!). Additionally, the sheets (fitted and flat) were put on sideways on 2 of the beds. I found that to be extremely ridiculous because there are obvious designs to indicate the proper orientation. Pillows between the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were mixed (both decorative and sleeping pillows - the bed clothes were very different: masculine and feminine - with colors that coordinate with the wall colors!). I believe the floors and bathrooms were cleaner before the More Hands maids came into my home. Between the water spots on the glass shower surround and fixtures and the sticky floors, I was completely dissatisfied. My young children were quickly instructed how the job should have been done as I had to rely on them to actually do the job. To make matters worse, when I called to redeem the second certificate, which I left at the office when I scheduled the first cleaning, I was told I was mistaken; that the certificate was for one cleaning. We used Morehands to do a deep clean of our home after tenants moved out. I was told that homes the same size typically take 5-7 hours. I said on the phone when scheduling that it should not take that long because the home had already been cleaned. Bathrooms were clean, carpets had been vacuumed, counters had been wiped, etc. I was looking for help with baseboards, fans, the kind of stuff that isn't every day cleaning. We had to stop them at almost 7 hours and they weren't finished. I questioned how it could take that long and was told that the baseboards took a long time. I'm still not sure how that takes 2 people almost 7 hours to clean. I'm really disappointed that I had to finish cleaning after spending more than $500. read more

We agreed upon $300 for a "deep clean" for a new rent house, prior to moving in. After several hours I was called by a manager to tell me that our blinds were too hard to clean and it would be $75 more dollars. After another hour a third lady showed up and spoke with the two maids already here. She left and shortly after that the two maids finished. When we moved in, we noticed that the floors still had dirt on them, our countertops still had dust on them, our appliances still had sticky substances in several crevices and dust on top, plus the insides of our cabinets were dirty. read more

They are by far some of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I gave them a second chance and had them clean my mom's house, they did another terrible job. 1 star cause I cant do a half.: Don't want to go on a rant so I will try and keep it short and sweet. Never doing business with MORE HANDS MAIDS of SPRING TX. They cleaned decently for the 7 HOURS they were there. We just moved out of an 1800 square foot home and it was COMPLETELY EMPTY and already pre cleaned by us before MORE HANDS MAIDS got there. They quoted 3.5 hours to clean and after 2 hours called and said their two maids just finished the kiichen and will need 4 more hours to clean the rest of the house. My kitchen is so small I can paint the walls and cabinets in 2 hours. So voiced out complaint and said we need it cleaned so that is fine. So 4 hours later they a re finished and call to say their maids broke a drawer in the refrigerator and the light on the ceiling fan. And had the audacity to say that we are lucky their maid was injured because the glass from the fan almost fell on her. So tried to spin it on us. Then said we looked up all the replacement parts and it should only cost $40 to replace, but we will give you $100. I looked it up and the cheapest parts I can order are $125 total! What about my time to order and replace these items. never again,. Use at your own risk. I can only imagine if I had furniture in the place, might have taken them the weekend to clean. read more

This is the same message I send to company. "We would like to request a refund. No one mopped the first floor. My husband and I are so disappointment in the cleaning Standards of this company.The mirrors in bedroom were not cleaned. The sofa was not dusted and I ask someone to dust. There is dust in entrainment center and on pictures. I have not even checked the second floor. My husband has called and I have asked and things just are not being done. I feel that I should not tell ladies what to clean when it's listed on website. We are having guest tomorrow and I have to get up can clean. This business is poorly managed. The first cleaning was decent and with time, I thought that it would work out. That will not occur however, as on the second scheduled service, this company switched my appointment time without notifying me and more importantly, did a "bait and switch on the cleaning crew". I was promised the same crew and only because I called the day of the appointment to see where the crew was at it was an hour past the anticipated arrival, was I told that I would get a new crew and not the one promised as it was "one of the best crews". Obviously, this company sends in their "best crew" for the first visit to get you to sign up, then switches you to a crew which they acknowledge is not up to the quality of the first crew. read more
