I really think this employee was just playing with me here and delaying my order on purpose, so I just requested a refund and went to Chick fil A where I was promptly taken care of. Lesson learned. People make the difference in any organization and this Dundalk Citgo is no different. The owner/leader of this team is a great man named Yash. Yash is more than a business owner. He's a pillar of the community who truly cares about his customers. I've been frequenting the store for many years and visit it multiple times a day. I'm always amazed by the number of people that Yash is on a first name basis with. Everyone knows him and he knows them. What's more impressive is that it doesn't stop with him. His leadership trickles down to all that work there. Sammy, Sonny, and Adam all embody Yash's work ethic and customer engagement. The neighborhood and community know these men like they were part of their family. I've never seen a business do the things they do to take care of their customers. It's truly incredible. I can't forget Mark, who provides security for the property. He always makes me and the other customers feel safe when he is on duty. This is truly a place of convenience for the people of Dundalk. My morning had not gone well at 7-11, so over to Royal Farms across the street I went. Now. Their coffee machine was not working as well. The difference here is that Alvin sprang into action as soon as the customer made him aware of what was wrong. The machine had become clogged and with a few deft jabs and mini cleaning it was good to go. I also observed him later completing cleaning up tasks. Angela is the super dandy cashier. Everyone was in and out in a timely fashion and with a smile and any bags or whatnot readily provided. In short, they did their jobs not adequately but very well, they represented and restored my faith in convenience stores. My day now looks brighter because of their great customer service skills.
