I went to get my teeth cleaned twice at this location. The first time I went in, the hygienist did…read morea fantastic job. Gave me a deep clean and spent nearly 45 min-1hr working on my teeth. Was very happy with the cleaning so I went back. The second time I went in to get my teeth cleaned, it was a newer hygienist and she was not prepared. Spent 10-15 min when I first sat down getting her things together. Then after the Dr checked me out, she spent MAYBE a total of 15 min cleaning my teeth. She had made a comment about how good my teeth look, and I think that therefore meant to her that she didn't need to spend time actually doing a deep clean. Which is absolutely not how that works. If I'm spending $300 out of pocket for you to clean my teeth, you'd better be looking in all the little nooks and crannies. I was in and out of that office in under an hour and was very upset at the cleaning I received. I tried to talk to the front desk about it but they were very uninterested and far from helpful. Basically gave me a, "Oh well. Pay us the $300." Will never return here.

This dentist office has won several "Best of" awards from various news papers and periodicals over…read morethe last few years for good reason. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and Dr. Weigand is kind, personable, and great at what he does. I have a wonderful experience every time I go in. Dr. Weigand uses state of the art equipment to identify problems early, and fix them quickly. He frequently utilizes lasers in his practice. Obviously it is at the doctors discretion when it is used so no promises on having this technology used on you, but for shallow cavities the doctor was able to use a laser device to remove and fill the cavities without having to numb me. It was awesome! Instead of being in there for an hour and not being able to eat for the next few hours, I was in and out in about 25 minutes and had nothing preventing normal eating or drinking. There was a cold sensation associated with the use of the device but there wasn't any pain. I'm sure the experience can differ from person to person and cavity to cavity, but it was amazing technology. While he is a bit on the pricey side, if you have good dental insurance I would highly suggest seeing Dr. Weigand. The time and care that is taken to ensure your mouth is in good health won't leave you disappointed.

The only time I went to this office was for an initial visit. I had been without insurance for…read moreclose to 20 years and knew there would be a lot of problems. Also, my pediatric dentist had been a real piece of work, so it left me always very uncomfortable and apprehensive with dentists. I relayed this experience and how it made me feel to them and they seemed incredibly unconcerned. They did discover I in fact had a number of problems and would require a lot of work. First, however, they referred me to an oral surgeon to take my wisdom teeth out, as that was the most pressing issue, as well as schedule a follow-up for after the surgery. Unfortunately, my work schedule changed and I had to cancel the follow-up. I asked that they call me back closer to the end of the project I was working on to reschedule, and they never did. I have tried off and on to get back in, leaving messages on the phone, and they have gone unreturned. A little more than a week ago, I started having some pain in my lower jaw, so I called in again and left another message, which went unreturned. Then again yesterday, and it was unreturned. I called today and finally got someone who picked up, explained the situation, and the earliest they could get me in was in 2 days. I asked why my calls hadn't been returned and was told very rudely that they had been on vacation for 2 weeks. This information was not on their voicemail service. Ultimately, I found another dentist that took our insurance, who happened to be one that had seen me on an emergency previously, and they were able to get me in sooner, so I canceled with Dr. Cloninger. The doctors in this office may be very competent, but I wouldn't know. I never got the chance to actually experience their care beyond an evaluation because the office staff was so rude, disorganized, and completely lacked any empathy. This poor management is a reflection of the doctor/provider themselves and erodes trust with the patient. My wife has been a patient with them for about 12 years, and I'm going to encourage her to find care elsewhere as well.
