"I had an extremely disappointing experience with ODL Landscaping. They came out but never followed…read morethe clear directions I gave--such as where to lay the pipe and using the solid PVC I paid for. Instead, they dug in the wrong areas, cut multiple irrigation lines I told them to avoid, and then claimed I was changing plans, which I wasn't. I gave clear instructions, but they simply didn't follow them. I paid $3,500, and now I have five downspouts that should have drained properly, but they've caused flooding. They left the pipe outlet submerged, so water can't escape. Now my side yard, backyard, and neighbors' yards flood. The soil washed into the trench, and it doesn't hold water now. They also used flex line instead of solid PVC for parts of the job and never gave me proper credit. Worse, while waiting for them to fix these problems, they charged my credit card without my authorization for the final payment. The last time I heard from them was when I was upset about that charge, while I was still waiting for them to finish the job. I also spent hours unclogging irrigation heads filled with mud from when they cut lines and never cleaned them. I wasted even more time taking photos, texting back and forth about the issues. I would highly not recommend this company to anyone."

The young man who came out to provide the initial estimate was polite and courteous, but unfortunately the service that followed did not match the professionalism of that first interaction. I received a quote for three separate projects, each with its own individual price--an important detail that later became one of my biggest frustrations. The primary project was pool deck leveling to address a drainage issue. I also discussed the possibility of adding a BBQ area. We agreed on pricing, and I decided to move forward with one project at a time. After making that decision, the company raised the price of the main project to "make it financially viable." That was red flag #1. Red flag #2 came when the technician arrived to complete the primary project. He did not perform the work outlined in the original quote. Instead, he implemented an entirely different fix--one that has made the drainage issue worse. After a few days of heavy rain, the problem is now more severe than before. I reached out to the estimator to express my concerns and dissatisfaction, but I never received a response. Given the poor quality of the work and the deviation from the agreed-upon plan, I believe a full refund was warranted or at the minimum they honor what I initially requested in terms of the repair. I'm simply grateful I did not move forward with all three projects. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.
