Antonio felt as if he could bully, intimidate me into removing a negative review because I felt that he wasn't providing adequate service. I can attest to the fact that Antonio is NOT customer service oriented and should never interact with customers because his doing so will definitely hurt a company that really has good values, reputation and that is growing financially. As a result of Antonio's antics, I ended up writing negative reviews and even contacting the BBB to file a complaint. I thought that Antonio was the only person who could address the problem but was I so wrong. Robert contacted me on Friday, September 1, and I could tell that he was very concerned about what was happening with my roof and ceilings. He showed up on Saturday morning, with his crew, and he actually walked through my kitchen, upstairs bedroom and the attic space, reviewed the video and the photo's that were taken, and even did the water hose test. Very thorough because he actually cared and wanted to find out what the problem was. He listened to me, and for that alone, I was appreciative. He wasn't condescending, he was patient, kind and caring and thorough. He didn't treat me like I was an idiot simply because I was not a roofer. I even had to leave for a scheduled meeting and I was absolutely comfortable leaving him and his crew at my home with my kids, and of course my neighbor. He followed up, told me the next steps, scheduled the time and they showed up. No changes, now showing up when they wanted to, and a very detailed, step by step project. On Tuesday, two of his contractors showed up, and from the moment they met me, he knew my name and they were so polite, and clean, they knew their stuff. I didn't expect all that was done but after they cut through the roof, he showed me the water stains on the wood but everything was dry, then they replaced the ceiling in the kitchen and painted my entire ceiling. In addition, they went to my son's room and replaced the rotted wood wall panel that was molded, and painted it too! This was way more than I expected. Those two guys worked hard, and until they were finished. I tried to buy them lunch but they were so humble. We are praying that the leaks are all fixed (none so far) and, if anything does happen again, I know that I can reach our to Robert and He will be there! I will always contact Robert for any issues, new jobs or projects that I may have, even for my company as I am a property manager and will float their company around my company. Northland, please take this advice, Robert should be the face of the company. His customer service is outstanding and soothing. Our interaction on the phone and in person was so easy and pleasant that I almost forgot about the issues I had with Antonio. I can move on now, and trust Northland because of Robert and his crew. Almost as surprised as when the Spotless truck appeared in the morning many days later, and I repeated to the crew leader that I had terminated Spotless. Shortly afterward, I received an email that my appointment was canceled. The "family" crew that I hired was reasonably priced, efficient, and honest. Steve O- Newington, CT I Hired JP carroll for my roof in…read moreNovember . they are a GAF certified installer which was one of my criteria. Overall decent job but 2 workmanship issues I discovered. price was in middle. higher than some others. lower than some others TJ sales guy was great. very knowledgeable and even discovered I didn't have soffit vents like I thought thus I did not have proper ventilation ( eves had siding with perforated vents however they were covered with plywood in attic no ventilation). because of this TJ pointed out I should not put ridge vents at peak ( they are designed to work with soffit vents). this was key in me picking JPC installation was done in 1 day. did great job protecting property and cleaning. staff very friendly. but at end of day I did walk around and questioned something regarding diverter installed in front of house. they did poor job in cutting flashing/ metal rake around diverted too much of gap. I questioned it and they attempted to put another piece over it but still had large gaps. they siliconed it assured me no water would penetrate. I accepted that initially but 4 days later after getting my gutters put in I noticed additional issues with the additional 2 nd piece of flashing they put over diverter 1) it was not a new fresh piece. it was recycles, dirty, had unused nail holes in it, and the edge was crinkled not straight edge. 2) the 2nd piece of additional flashing was not cut to fit the area. this area was above the gutter over over my front entry/door where there is a short side wall where garage connects to house. the flashing was 2-3" too long vertically. and it was hanging below the side of the garage by 2-3". not a tight fit cut/nailed to side of garage so there was huge open crevice 1" wide about 12" long along sidewall of garage. perfect storm for wasp/ bees nest. the contour of flashing used was stepped not flat which created a 2nd rectangular opening. I couldn't believe it was left this way I complained demanded correction of flashing before paying balance. JPC STEPPED UP sent Mike Chase to evaluate a week later who agreed condition was not acceptable they sent a specialist JOE 1 week later ( 2 weeks after job) to fix it and he apologized for how it was left. JOE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB EXCELLENT JOB FIXING IT to how I wanted it too look in the first place . LOOKS GREAT NOW In walking around with joe to check rest of house,, I noticed something about my 3 new louvers I didn't notice before. when initially discussed the intent was to space them equally:. 1 on each end near side of house nea gable vents, and 1 in middle of roof. however they didn't do that 1 of them was centered instead of placing near end of house one of gables. so they are not visually symmetric/ equidistant on the roof. looks weird if you are looking up from back of house, but most people wont notice. All said and done they serviced my home and were neat. The cleanup was also amazing. But please understand that all said and done no matter how clean and neat the service is there is and will be some minor things left behind. Like a nail or two maybe some unseen gutter clips. This is expected and I'm glad I hired this company. I strongly recommend them for your household needs.
