My husband hired Lamb's Cleaning Service to deep clean our home after we found them on Yelp and…read morewanted to support a small business. I truly did not want to leave a negative review, but I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the service provided. Before booking, my husband specifically asked if they offer deep cleaning, and we were told yes. This review is based on a deep cleaning service, not a regular or maintenance clean. Unfortunately, there was also barely any light tidying completed, which is something typically included even in a basic cleaning service. For example, couch pillows were left messy (picture attached), and although I specifically asked for the area under our boys' beds to be cleaned, there was still dirt and toys left underneath. After I pointed it out, he did go back and clean under the beds, which I appreciated. However, there were many other missed details throughout the home. Items on the kitchen sink were left lying down rather than being put back upright (photo attached). Some drawers were not dusted or cleaned (photo attached), and spider webs were still visible on certain walls. These are all things I would expect to be addressed in a basic clean. When I asked whether the shower glass had been wiped down, I was told it had been. However, there were still visible water stains that made it appear untouched (photo attached). I do appreciate that they offered to wipe it down again when I mentioned it. As for the deep cleaning itself, none of the sink faucets looked deep cleaned, or even cleaned at all. In one restroom, toothpaste residue was still on the sink. I was able to wipe it off easily with my finger, which made me feel the area may not have been cleaned in the first place (photos attached). I understand that I could have done a walkthrough and asked for corrections before they left, but I found so many missed details that I felt discouraged and simply thanked them and let them go. I wanted to support a local business, but unfortunately, the service did not meet the expectations of a deep cleaning, especially given the number of basic areas that were overlooked.

I needed it cleaned today due to company arriving tomorrow morning and probably called 20 different cleaning services (16 voicemails, 3 no availability, 1 that can only do 6am) before receiving a call back from Ella (the owner) saying that she could have two cleaners come out tonight. 8pm rolls around and they do show up despite the time and length of job ahead of them, and proceed to clean after I showed them through. Both before and after, Ella kept in touch constantly with me and seemingly with the cleaners to make sure everything was going smoothly, to update me on when they would be there, and to inform me of how pricing would work. About 10 minutes before they finished, I received a call from her to give me a final price and she was kind enough to offer a huge discount for the job done. While the pictures don't all show just how big of a disaster the house was, I know full well it was a lot of work. The occupants for the past 3 months consisted of a group of young adults (13-24) combined with a ridiculously furry (sheds on everything) husky. As I'm sure most of you know, this isn't the cleanest age group in terms of household chores. There was plenty of dog fur all over the floors, along the stairwell, on the carpet, and it sort of looked like a food bomb went off in the kitchen. Hair was chopped off and dyed in the restroom. Soap caked onto the sink. Grime from previous owners sat untouched on the blinds in the kitchen. Burnt drippings in the oven. Dust from unuse in the spare bedrooms coated everything. 5 hours later, all of this was remedied. Amazing customer service and attitude from both Ella and the two ladies (sorry, I'm awful with names!). Would definitely recommend Sofiya's Cleaning Services to anybody looking for a stress-free job done for their home!

I'm also getting excellent service! The new house was fairly clean but really needed a good kitchen/bathroom cleaning and all the floors mopped/walls cleaned/dusting top to bottom. Two super-friendly women came by to do the work. For a 3 bed/2bath house (including refrigerator and oven cleaning, tub with jets, all floors needing a mopping [no carpeting], plantation-blinds on everyyyyy window, etc..) they breezed through it in a timely manner! The house looks fab! I'm beyond pleased! I can't wait to see the magic that happens in the old house! I'll definitely be arranging a regular bi-weekly in the near future! I'm so excited to have found such a wonderful local business. Sure I can call one of the franchised services (not naming names but they rhyme with "jerry maids" and "jolly maids" lol) but as a self-employed woman I much prefer to give my hard-earned money to a small business owned and run by a woman, staffed by women. Support local businesses, and reap the rewards! I'm doing something good for my home, for local commerce, for women in business, and for my soul :)

My wife and I are severely disabled…read more We recently had a nightmare experience with Meathead Movers. After charging us almost 2k to pack a 1 bedroom apartment, and letting our cat out after swearing they wouldn't & denying having done it (she was found outside several hours later - they had let her out). In addition, they "packed" by dumping stuff in boxes. Nothing was organized or protected at all. Then they moved us to our house & stacked boxes in such a way that we couldn't use our kitchen. But the final insult to injury was that they abandoned a closet full of clothes, half the things in our kitchen, and everything in our bathroom. Leaving them in the apartment and claiming they only left trash. C&C Movers were a lifesaver. They packed up the rest of our things and cleared them out of the apartment in less than 3 hours. They also had no problem stopping at our storage unit to pick up a couple of things that were forgotten there. The guys were friendly, helpful, and mindful of my disabilities. They even reorganized our storage unit a bit so things wouldn't fall out on the next people to open it. I cannot recommend them enough. I will be using them for EVERY moving need we have for the conceivable future. They're lifesavers. I wish I could give Mike & the team 10 stars. Pics are before & after of the apartment- showing the things Meathead Movers abandoned, and then how it looked when C&C cleaned up their mess. I seriously can't thank them enough. If you need to move, hire them. You will NOT regret it.
