Moose's Martini is a part of the "new" downtown Dearborn. It's a very quaint bar. It's basically a long, narrow room, and the people were packed in on a Friday night. They have an extensive martini list, and the wait staff was very helpful when we were trying to make our selections. I recommend the Pink Hound and the Snozberry. Well, I was here this past Halloween weekend & I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I ran into my cousin who said their martinis are great & I'll take her word for it...I had some whiskey & didn't try any of their signature cocktails. I enjoyed the over 30 atmosphere here (thank God, I often feel old when out in Dearborn) & they played great music but there's no dance floor which kind of stinks...we had to leave & go next door to The Well to get our dance on. My only other complaint is the single private bathroom...this sucks when there are 6 ladies in line & only 1 can use the bathroom at a time (some ladies take WAY too long), and God forbid someone drink too much, they'd have to go outside to be sick, they can't take up the only bathroom for 45 minutes. I'm a fan of bar hopping & I think this is a good first or middle bar but I like to close out my bar night getting my groove on so I would likely spend more weekend going here & The Well for a nice rounded night of fun!!! read more

Been here a few times and always have fun. They have a great list of specialty drinks if you are looking to be a little adventurous. Some of the drinks you may order just because of the creative name. Drinks and typical price for a martini bar but they do make a quality drink. It's called a martini bar but doesn't have a "stuffy" feel like some martini bars. It feels like a classy beer and shot bar and I mean that in a good way. Good jukebox that isn't over powering but very diverse. Locations is great! Right on MI Ave in downtown Dearborn with large windows and a patio that give you great areas for people watching. The bar is very clean and has a really nice laid back atmosphere. The aesthetic of the bar is very upscale and modern. The bartenders are phenomenal and anything I ask for they've got no issue obliging. The manager is a sweet heart and everyone is kind and very caring of the service they give you. If i could recommend any place to go it would be here and bamboozles. The music is a good volume and the drinks are super cool. I think this is a 4.5 star review, but will lean towards five on this one. Came on a saturday night, they had a DJ (he played some great music and it was current, no dance floor though) and there was a lot of people in here mixing and mingling. They have a appetizer menu (all baked not fried) for which I had the wings (a little big but really good) and their chicken nachos (some of the best nachos you will ever have). Drinks here will run between $6-$9 (including their martini's, which are all 8.50 and very good), but are very very good, different, and they run at least a 1-2 drink special every day. Overall, it can get a little high here as far as price/bill at the end of the night here, but it is a nice good time, i like it. read more

Beware of the prices in this bar. I asked for a shot of Don Julio tequila and was shocked that they charged 20 dollars for a shot. I know my tequila more specifically Don Julio. So when the bartender Kerry said it was 20 dollars and that it was the going rate I was immediately suspicious. Kerry insisted that it was the cost everywhere. Two doors down the cost for a shot was 13 dollars. I paid my bill. Be careful in this bar. read more

I give Moose's all the credit in the world for trying to "modernize" the west Dearborn area by opening an establishment that caters to the young professionals crowd that's looking for something classier and more hip than something along the same strip that are more dated and have become a "has been" type place. Moose's does have awesome deals during Happy Hour, and the selection of martini drinks definitely lives up to the name of actually calling it a "Martini Pub", as opposed to just "Pub." I got a feeling the long and narrow layout of Moose's was intentional, because you have no choice but to face a person as you shuffle sideways towards the back (or the front) of the bar, and that increases the probability of you striking up a conversation with a stranger, whatever the end result of that may be. Since I'm not quite at that stage of my life anymore, being squished against the wall like I'm in a can of sardines just doesn't do it for me anymore. It's really loud in there, and it's not just because I'm old and don't like loud places anymore. The combination of the acoustics of the long and narrow bar, plus the quantity of people in there make my ears ring when I leave. Mets friends here for happy hour and excitedly glanced through their drink menu which is extensive and reasonably priced. As hungry happy hour visitors, our table sampled many of their appetizers all of which were bland and unappetizing. The spinach artichoke dip literally had no flavor and was extremely watery... The fried ravioli was also bland and reminiscent of frozen food you can find at any big lots store. The nachos lacked enough cheese to truly be considered nachos and was smothered instead by lettuce. Thankfully, the drink menu was large enough to provide flavor where the food lacked any at all. I personally won't go back but if you want to go somewhere to try some creative drinks, this might be up your alley.... just don't go hungry or you'll be supremely disappointed. read more

They offer cheap drink specials because they've watered down the vodka. I had two (well one and a half) dirty martinis. The fist was weak and overly brined. The second was properly brined, but I could tell the vodka was at least 25% water. Bad place. read more

Went here for lunch last week. After all, they have a sign out front advertising food and drink and they open at noon. Sounds like a place to eat lunch, right? Wrong. This is a bar that happens to have a few food items to help you sober up after you drink too much. They have typical appetizers (e.g. chicken tenders), atypical appetizers (e.g. crispy green beans), three burgers, and two sandwiches. That's it. They claim all their items are baked not fried, but not sure if I buy that one. Maybe previously fried before being frozen and then baked for you when you order? I went with the Moose burger ($4.99). It was previously frozen meat with no flavor. They gave you a couple packets of mayo and mustard plus a bottle of House Recipe (sucks) ketchup. Oh, and a few pickle slices. Came with a bag of kettle chips. 2* on the food. Bartender was nice, friendly, attentive, etc. Of course, hard not to be attentive when there are only two people in the place. Place was clean and had a good atmosphere. Music playing overhead was questionable. 4 or 5 flat screen tvs over the bar. Probably a good place for happy hour. As such, I'll generously give them 3* (service/cleanliness). In terms of lunch, they either need to add to their menu plus improve the items they already have or just don't open until later in the day. read more

Holy wow, people REALLY seem to dislike this place... Rather puzzling because I've never had anything but good experiences here. Service has always been great, drinks always have a generous pour, and the "virgin" fruit smoothie one of the bartenders whipped up for me when I wasn't in the mood for anything with alcohol was delicious! It's a relatively small bar, with a few high top tables and one larger tables for bigger parties. They've got yummy bar food if you're looking to nibble on a little something while enjoying your cocktails. Very friendly staff and food is good. Several tvs to watch the game but not overly consuming. We were able to watch two MLB playoff games and catch up with an old friend over the course of a couple hours without interruption or having to scream over loud noises. This used to be our go to place. Not so much any more. There is only one bartender on shift at 5pm Friday and she gets slammed with customers. This makes for longer drink times & frustrated customers. The glasses have gotten smaller, drinks are not consistent and it seems like the management has let the place go. I don't really understand the people that are rating this place as a restaurant... it's clearly a bar and that's pretty obvious when you walk in. I've been to Moose's Martini Pub a few times with friends and family. The building and atmosphere is very nice and always smells like waffles because of the ice cream shop next door. They have a variety of drinks from which to choose and a nice menu that provides a run down of options. The prices are reasonable and the food is decent. One downside is the music is pretty loud at night, which makes conversation difficult, but that seems to be a trend in the area.I would recommend the Tiramisu or Yellow Brick Road Martinis. This pub isn't pretentious or a total dive like other Dearborn bars. Overall, Moose's Martini Pub would be a great place to stop by with friends or family and enjoy a drink. read more

Last weekend was my first time coming to Moose Bar. The location is good with a FREE parking garage on the weekends located super close. The service was pretty good, very friendly ladies! The biggest disappointment was the lemon drop martini. It was very bitter and gross. The apple martini was too artificially sweet. I was disappointed because I asked a suggestion for a martini that was sweet but not overly sweet and strong. I was recommended the apple martini which was okay but too sweet. However, the best martini was the CUCUMBER MARTINI! It was so good so perfect. I liked this place just for whatever. It's def. for an older crowd but my girlfriend and I just wanted to drink and talk so this was perfect. I'd probably come back just for that and the cucumber martini. For 4 martinis and a great buzz with my girlfriend I didn't think $40 was too bad other than the lemon drop martini. read more
