Fantastic! Our group of 9 adults needed a place to sleep as our flight landed at midnight and we were headed to Soldatna but that was another 3 hour drive. We needed to rest. I contacted the owner, Anthony, who was very responsive and accommodating. We were the first guests to the Big Bear Den. It was clean, lovely and inviting. We were exhausted and everyone had a place to sleep. 3 couples took the rooms with king and queen beds. The single lady got her own room and the 2 single men took the couch and loveseat. After a good night's sleep we were so thankful for the coffee, different types of creamers and sweetness and even provided almond milk which made my friend very happy. Wish we could've stayed longer but will be referring my friends here first when they travel to Anchorage. You will not regret staying here. Thank you Anthony! read more
