So I walked to this place that was open, it was weird a lot of tattoo shops closes early, so I found this place, the staff was awesome!! I wanted a basic tattoo and got a butterfly, always wanted a butterfly, love butterflies the woman at the front desk was pretty cool and helped me pick the right one (yes there are many different butterflies) and also had to find the perfect size for where I wanted it, I didn't want it too big or small. The guy who did mine was pretty cool as well, very patient when I was telling him where I wanted it. It didn't take long to do, actually fell asleep, and it turned out beautifully. The outlines of the butterfly was pretty badass. Loved it. If anyone is looking for a place to get a tattoo here around Burlington, I would definitely go here. Vibes are amazing here as well. They do a lot of amazing work. I get compliments everyday at work of my tattoo as well.

Without going into much detail, there wasn't anyone running reception when I arrived (don't put your clients in the weird position of having to interrupt artists already working). My artist ignored our appointment time. When I arrived, she was totally unprepared and unprofessional about handing the situation, clearly in the middle of another client's job when I arrived; and has ignored multiple inquiries regarding a touch up in the months following. I've got a lot of tattoos, it's a big hobby of mine - traveling around to get them done and collaborating with the artist is a big part of it for me - I could just be turning into a snob. It was an incredibly rushed job that wasn't executed well the first-time and I recently had fixed by someone else.

I thought I was going to a tattoo ARTIST that would at least take the 2 seconds to read what his client wanted, not a tattoo copyist who just wanted to copy paste someone else's tattoo. I sent multiple reference photos (3) and explained what I wanted out of each photo prior to being booked, but when we arrived he basically was like "just pick one of the references and I'll copy it exactly". He even used the words "I'm not interested." I would have walked out if I didn't really want to get a tattoo on that exact day (our 11 year anniversary). Even with copying, he couldn't even at least be bothered to move one of the parts to the spot I had asked. (The sword being through the crown instead of the crown being above it) Until after being rude about it and me having to point it out in the email in front of his face that I in fact, did ask for that. He had papers printed of the wrong thing, I asked why they were like that and he had an attitude and was like "because that's how YOU asked for them" I just said "uh, no." And he went and pulled up my emails on a big tv screen and still tried to argue with me by pointing to my references I sent. I literally walked up to the screen and read off what I had asked for while pointing to it with my finger. He STILL CONTINUED to argued it because I sent the reference pictures and he "just goes by what picture I send". I said "well I didn't know you were just going to not read my email and just copy a reference image exactly." He said "that's what we do here." lol ok then say that and deny the booking, don't accept custom work if you don't do that. As soon as we walked in the door he had an attitude and was acting like we were a bother to him. Next time don't accept work if you don't want to do it? Every other tattoo I have I didn't have this experience. My thigh tattoo, the artist spent 5 hours drawing for me before tattooing it. And this dude couldn't even be bothered to read one sentence and copy paste one part.
