I've been to some decent local concerts here as well as receptions of various kinds, but on any other day this place is just depressing.

Whether you're into sports, family time, or community events, you'll find something to enjoy. I usually come out to play tennis at the courts or check out the markets they host, usually on Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings. They also have fun community events like the community parking lot sale, where locals can sign up to have a yard sale at the park. My son loves the playgrounds (there are several for different age groups), and on weekends, it's always nice to stop by when there are baseball or softball games going on. The snack shack is usually open during games so its an easy and affordable stop for snacks, burgers and hot dogs. The park is always clean, well-kept, and full of life. It's great to see so many people using it for different things. I wish that they'd add some outdoor pickleball courts, but the community center nearby offers plenty of indoor options like pickleball, racquetball, volleyball, and basketball. The one thing that I have seen a lot of lately is kids/teens racing around on electric bikes/Surron-style bikes. The hills throughout the park are fun to ride, but just make sure to keep your eyes peeled, especially with letting your small kids roam around, to avoid potential accidents. Owverall, Yucaipa Community Park is one of those places that really brings the community together. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

We love attending the outdoor movie nights--they're such a fun tradition for us! My only critique is that the restrooms could use a bit more attention when it comes to cleanliness. That said, the park overall is kept in great condition and makes for a wonderful place to spend quality time.

I was pleasantly surprised to catch them open until 5:30 p.m. on a Friday--perfect timing before our pack meeting. The young man behind the counter was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the difference between Class A and Class B uniforms, what items we actually needed right away, and which ones to double-check with our scoutmaster before buying--saving us an unnecessary trip or purchase. He also mentioned their easy return policy: as long as items have their tags and a receipt, they'll issue a full refund, and you can even send someone else in your place to handle it. It was clear he genuinely cared about helping customers, and he shared his own experience growing up in Scouts, which made the interaction feel personal and authentic. Very professional service and a great example of the Scout spirit in action. We left fully prepared and very appreciative of the help!

Almost immediately, it became clear the program was disorganized, unwelcoming, and lacking any support or guidance for new families, especially for a child with autism. Communication was minimal, leadership appeared disengaged, and we were even instructed to purchase the wrong $150 uniform, which we were then unable to return. The organization feels completely disconnected at every level, with no accountability or support when issues arise. After withdrawing within four weeks due to these issues, we were denied a refund strictly as a matter of "policy," which is deeply concerning and does not reflect the values the organization claims to uphold.

Their used stuff is dirty and too expensive, bad quality too. They have rude management and staff. Wouldn't be surprised at all if this supposed non-profit feeds its pockets with all that money from donations for personal use instead.

Right off the bat, THIS DOES NOT FEEL NOR OPERATE LIKE MOST GOODWILL STORES DO. It's significantly smaller with a limited selection of items. Every time I've been in there, there's been no furniture/larger items, and the selection of items as a whole is small. An assortment of home decor items and clothing accessories, a wall of books, some clothing racks in the middle. That's pretty much it. That all being said...everything available is very carefully curated and shockingly clean by Goodwill standards. The shelves and books are all color-coordinated, and pretty much everything seems to be in very decent condition. It feels more like a small secondhand boutique than a Goodwill, to be honest. Given the size of the space, I actually appreciate that it's laid out this way. It's easier to find things, and the things that I find are usually of higher quality. If you are trying to make a donation...I, personally, would not do it at this particular location. The thing I like about making donations to most Goodwill stores is the ease of it. I like being able to pull my car up to the side of the building and have an employee take the items without too much fuss. From all of the negative reviews on here, it seems like that isn't really how donations go down at this Goodwill store. I would actually recommend the Colton Avenue location in Redlands for anyone looking to make donations in the area, as that seems to be a store with a more standard donation set-up.
