    Beach view from inside

Cold and unfriendly atmosphere due to the majority of bartenders. They seem to think they are doing you a huge favor by taking your drink order. I was told they had to be members in order to work there. They could sure use lessons on hospitality, friendliness and humility. Every person who walks in there should be treated as though it is their first time there. Bartenders seem to forget that you do not get a 2nd chance to make a good impression. 1-star Views and location 5-stars. spectacular! Food 1-star. Parking 1-star. Waitresses are friendlier. 3.5-stars If this place was not on the beach it wouldn't have much business due to the aforementioned. You can do so much better with the food and hospitality. Get it together please.

What a pleasant surprise! Right on the beach too. Lots different than our Moose, haha! Beautiful views! Nice open round bar! A must see!

I specifically search out a moose lodge wherever I go. You do have to be a member to get in, but the membership cost is extremely worth it. The food and drinks are extremely cheap, and the people are unbeatable. Members of the moose are always easy to talk with, extremely friendly, and welcoming of all. This location is particularly neat because it's right on the beach, with beach access, and a rooftop with a view of the ocean my friends and I had a fantastic experience here and chose to stop in a few times during our stay on AMI

What a great club to belong to ! So caring and kind and giving with children with disabilities and everyone in the Anna Maria island chapter is so friendly and accommodating! Best views EVER ! Updated bar area and the roof top deck is simply amazing ! We love this place and it's a favorite of ours when we are here at AMI.

We are members at a lodge in Ohio. Ours is not nearly this nice lol. It's a very clean spot, located right on the beach. Plenty of seating inside and a few tables outside as well. The food is cheap and the drinks aren't bad either. They have a larger draught list than ours as well, with quite a few craft beers. All served in plastic disposable cups. The food is mostly bar food, like appetizers and wings. We had some fried pot stickers. They were pretty good. It's cash only, just like our lodge. But they do have an atm inside. $3 fee. They are also pretty strict about showing your card when you order. That wasn't a problem for us, since we both had ours. The service is friendly at the bar. We also brought my mom, who is not a member and she was treated well too.

Naaah. I live in New York City, I was only visiting my friend in Bradenton so of course I'm not a member - but my friend is and we stopped by to munch on something and some cold beer. We sat by the bar for awhile and ordered a few... then we went upstairs to relax on the sunset. I took his card and went downstairs to get another beer and the same bartender refused to sell it to me, because only members can get it. I was like really? He had to come downstairs so I could get that beer. Are you kidding me? Guess what... he said he's not going to renew his membership

Everything was sold out, and after calling around with no luck, I finally found BridgeWalk on Yelp. Noah answered and was AMAZING from the start!!He helped us secure a last-minute weekend BridgeWalk and we drove over right away. As a mom, this meant everything to me--our youngest is on the spectrum, and he was completely calm and comfortable in the room. That rarely happens when we travel, so having a space that felt safe for him was huge. The room was spotless, the bathroom was super clean (we loved the shower and tub combo) and the enclosed balcony was such a nice touch. Every staff member from parking to front desk to housekeeping was kind, welcoming, and professional. The location is perfect! There areshops and restaurants downstairs, Daiquiri Deck across the street, mini golf for the kids, and the beach just steps away. They also provide beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels, which made everything so easy for our family. We loved it so much, we extended another night! As a mom who values comfort, cleanliness, and genuine service this place is a 10/10. We will absolutely be back.

Our 2nd day, they moved us from our beautiful gulf front room to a room upstairs so they could sand bag our original room for the hurricane. On the 3rd morning, we were told we had to mandatory evacuate. We had to scramble to find another hotel to stay at, and had to pay for those nights as well, of course. Tortuga Inn will not refund our money and Expedia says they can't refund our money because Tortuga Inn won't. My credit card company tried to help also, but Tortuga Inn waited until almost the last day they legally had to respond before the ruling would go in my favor, then said no because we "never cancelled." (We were told to leave and handed our key to a person at the office. It's been a 2 month ordeal trying to get a refund and it looks like we are screwed. I will never ever consider staying at this shady establishment again!

Close to the beach, thinks looked good. But then, the issues started. First, we were told checkout was at 10am. I emailed the 2 emails I was given to ask if we could get late checkout, and never got a response. Then, there was 2 TV's. One in bedroom, one in living room, and 3 remotes. 2 spectrum remotes and one TV remote. Neither spectrum remote did anything so we only had one remote for both TV's. I called the after hours number at 10pm on Sat and was told they would bring me one in the morning (which means they obviously had one on hand). I told them we were checking out in the morning but said he couldn't bring it until then. In other words, he didn't want to be disturbed on a Sat night TO DO HIS JOB!!!! Second, the front door had a blind inside the pane of glass and would not go down all the way. We had 2 girls sleeping in the living room and only way to stop people from looking in was to put something against the door. Finally, there in only one wall AC unit in the entire unit which is in bedroom, which means if you have people using the pullout bed, you have to leave the bedroom door open, so privacy is out the window. Considering how much competition there is in the area and lack of service we got, doubtful we would come back or recommend this place.

As others have noted in their reviews, Ken and Jeff are constantly working to keep up this lovely family resort. It is clean and landscaped beautifully, and the rooms are just right! With a sitting area in our two bedroom, we enjoyed the recliner and couch as we watched movies in the evening. In our full kitchen, we stocked the refrigerator from the local Publix and made our breakfast and lunch, which we packed for the beach. Many guests chose to grill out as we saw when we would load up to go to a local restaurant for dinner, but we preferred eating out! On our first night at Hurricane Hanks restaurant down the road, we met up with a resident who offered us more ideas for restaurants for dinner. There's nothing like walking right out onto the beach to spend a morning watching the waves, seeing dolphins frolic, observing osprey catching their breakfast, and swimming in the water among schools of fish. Many of the guests knew each other from yearly vacations, and we have already made our reservation for next year! Anna Maria Island is quiet and family friendly. White Sands Resort offers shuffleboard and corn hole right next to the pool, but the best show is the sunset. On our first night, we were surprised to see how many lined the beach to see God's beauty, of course clapping at the end! Thank you to Ken, Jeff, Joy, and Esther for a wonderful stay.
