She treated my wife with disrespect and hostility, for no reason. Whether she had a bad day or just doesn't enjoy her job, my wife was so upset with the treatment from staff (racism) she walked out on our puppies appointment. Another customer even affirmed with my wife that the service was terrible. Apparently there are no vets on staff and just "vet relief". So if you're looking for a professional place to trust and take your loving pup or pet, look elsewhere. A place like this does not deserve your business.

Dr. Dunn is an outstanding veterinarian and a nice man. When my difficult cat was sick and dying…read moreof lymphoma and kidney failure, he actually came to my house to draw blood and care for her. He arranged for transdermal medications to be formulated by an associate of his in California, to make it easier to medicate my cat, who was difficult to pill or administer oral medications to. He provided a veterinary assistant to help me administer fluids to my cat three times per week at home, and when my cat finally died, he cared and called to comfort me. This is a great man, and a great veterinarian that I recommend highly to anyone. The clinic that he works in is not much as far as the facility goes, but he has what he needs and a good vet makes all the difference in the world, no matter where he or she is working.

I would not recommend Animal Clinic of Beltline based on how they handled my dog Blizzard's…read morescheduled boarding. Blizzard has been a patient there, received her vaccinations there, and has attended their daycare. She was scheduled to board on Friday, August 28. I even brought in her required fecal sample on August 24 specifically for the boarding stay. At no point was I told there was a problem or that they might refuse to board her. Then, at **6:30 p.m. on August 27--the NIGHT BEFORE I was scheduled to fly out of town**--I received a call telling me the Chief of Staff had declined Blizzard for boarding because of her "temperament." Blizzard can be nippy when getting shots, but I am not aware of any problems with her while attending daycare that would justify waiting until the last minute to deny her boarding. If there were concerns about her behavior, why weren't they discussed with me when I made the reservation or when I brought in her fecal sample just four days earlier? I was also told something about Blizzard not having the "drugs" that should have been sent home with her. This was the first I had heard that my dog supposedly needed medication in order to board. Why would medication be required, what medication were they planning to give her, and why wasn't this discussed with me ahead of time? I asked for the Chief of Staff to call me and explain the decision. **I never received a call.** I finally had to call the clinic myself on September 2 to get more information and have Blizzard's records transferred to another veterinarian. My issue isn't that a veterinary clinic has safety rules or can decide that a dog isn't appropriate for boarding. My issue is **waiting until 6:30 p.m. the night before a customer is flying out of town to tell them**, after having multiple opportunities to address the concern beforehand. That was unprofessional, stressful, and completely unacceptable to me. After this experience, I have lost confidence in this clinic and will be taking Blizzard elsewhere for her veterinary care.
