This visit was for a Replacement Crown and tooth filling. They were very professional and making sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure they were doing. Also, my teeth cleaning in this office has been the best I have ever had. Their Hygienists are amazing. Also, their office staff are very professional and helpful. I specifically made an appointment because I have a front tooth filling that chipped and now my…read morefront tooth is jagged. Instead of doing anything about that, they chose to do a cleaning. I thought they were doing the cleaning before taking care of my filling. Instead, they said "oh, we need to do an assessment first, and then you have to come back to get the filling". I don't understand why this dentist office is not able to assess and fill at the same appointment. When I addressed this issue with the office manager, she says it is their normal procedure to tell a new patient over the phone that you will first need to come in for the assessment and then you will have to make another appointment for any work that needs to be done. They did not tell me that over the phone and if they had, I would have moved on to the next dental office. Interesting how she said she would need to go back and listen to the tapes to find out if they told me what they normally tell people. I told her to go back and listen to the tapes - I don't believe they have tapes. This place is a scam. If I could give a minus 4 stars, I would. As a side note, the paperwork they want you to sign before seeing the dentist has a page that you have to initial each statement. One of those basically says that if, in the middle of treatment, the dentist decides you need more work done, you are authorizing him/her to do any and all treatment. THAT IS A HUGE RED FLAG, which I actually addressed with the front office before my appointment. They seemed surprised that I would object to that. Does anyone read the paperwork they're signing? Wow.
