I get the earliest appointment available which is 6:50am or 7am , they text me reminders of my upcoming appointment. In these text messages they send me a link to fill out any paperwork I may need for my visit that day. I am usually the first patient of the day so I dont have to wait long to be called back. The first time i went they took x-rays and pictures of my teeth. The hygienist there was very nice, polite and professional. I see her every time I go in so its nice to see the same friendly face. She does my cleaning and I dont feel any pain when she does this. Then I see the dentist and we go over my overall plan for my teeth. Let me tell yall, I had a wisdom tooth still attached to me and for the longest time I had refuse to take it out (for several reasons) but after speaking with the dentist about wanting to fix my teeth I realize that tooth would have to come out. I was scared, no lie, but the team made me feel at ease when we started that process. The financial department was very patient in answering all my questions and explaining to me what my insurance was and was not gonna cover. On the day of the actual extraction I go there early, they took me back, set me up with laughing gas and honestly that part took the longest. They numb my face and gave me the gas and then proceeded to take out my wisdom teeth and the whole that only took like 10 minutes and it came out in one whole piece!!! AND I GOT TO KEEP IT!!! I have also gotten clear aligners from them and that process has been good so far. When I visit I am usually the only patient there and is pretty quiet. When I do need to schedule an appointment with them its a pretty smooth process as well. I have notice they (in this suite) do not have a ADA entrance, its a small step up but even once you get inside they have a very narrow hallway. Even the bathroom is small but I guess that is the space they got to work in. Also, the Dentist noticed I was showing early signs of cavities and prescribe me this medical grade toothpaste for $30, most expensive toothpaste in my life. Overall I would recommend coming here to get your wisdom teeth remove in one piece.

He seems eccentric and extremely smart so perhaps people mistake that for being rude or having bad bedside manner? I'm not sure but I didn't find him rude at all. I tried to not let the bad reviews mold my opinion and focused on business. He did introduce himself to me and I felt he paid attention to me while I spoke. I'm a migraine sufferer and they keep getting worse. I was given some sample meds to try and two scripts. He took the time to talk to me, exam me, ask a lot of questions about my headaches and frequency, so I was satisfied with the visit. I will be going back. They have a migraine room in another office. I found that interesting and will definitely be trying that out.

The only saving grace is the kindness of the front office staff. However, it does not offset the dismissiveness, coldness, full blown symptom ignoring by the medical physicians themselves. If you want to feel like you're in an assembly line and nothing more than a date of birth then sure, this is a great fit. If you want any kind of consideration, kindness, understanding, compassion, and actual HELP then unfortunately, disappointingly, and sadly, KHB is not the place for you.

I gave them a chance to make it right, but this is what they want. I recall with great clarity,…read moreinforming Dr. Vishal Shah of my chronic back pain and the fact that I have been prescribed Opioids for my condition. I even recall him discussing with me potential interactions with the Opioids and my ADHD medication that he prescribes me. I had to change health insurance and when I did, it became extremely difficult to get my Opioid medication refilled. So, I decided instead of paying out-of-pocket to see my old pain doctor who was previously in-network, to wean myself off my Opioids using the medication I had and I also requested that Dr. Shah prescribe me Valium to make it easier. Dr. Shah did send out the prescription, like he has occasionally done in the past. Its worth noting, I do have an underlying anxiety disorder which I take Valium for occasionally. When the pharmacy received the script, they refused to fill it. They cited the dangers of mixing Opioids and Benzos. Which is interesting because that same exact pharmacy has filled prescriptions in the past for Opioids and Benzos in the same month. The pharmacist himself told me that Dr. Shah would have to resend the Valium prescription attached with a note of him acknowledging that I am taking Opioids at the same time. Mind you I'm weaning myself off and I'm not taking my regular doses for my pain medication. Dr. Shah did not re-send the prescription. The pharmacist that I spoke with over the phone informed me that Dr. Shah himself said that he was unaware of me taking Opioids in the first place. A lie. A lie, so he can seemingly wash his hands of my dicey situation and free himself of liability. Yes, that is what he may have thought, instead this issue will be publicized all over the Internet and reported to the TMB. All I wanted was an apology. That was too much to ask for, so here is what I promised. At this time, I am no longer taking any Opioids. It was a painful process accompanied with poor sleep. alḤamdulillāh, I'm better now with my physical therapy and living Opioid free, no thanks to Prime Behavioral Health.

They never emailed or sent me any invoices, and that was confirmed by the billing department when I just called to settle up. They said it was an error on their end, but still charged me the additional $7, even though they couldn't explain what the $7 was for. Unreal, and who knows how often they do this to their other patients!
