Garrett did the consultation and he was super helpful in explaining all of the pieces/parts of garage doors and why things were important - or not. Having these explanations really helped me make a decision on what/what not to buy. Their prices were very reasonable - especially for a brand new garage door (upgrade to insulated), opener, etc.) I would also like to mention Nick who did the installation. Nick and his coworker also made sure that all my questions were answered. They taught me what maintenance I needed to do on the garage door and when (who knew!!!). They even blew out my garage with a leaf blower when they were done so that it was nice and tidy!! They got done in just a couple of hours (single garage) and left me a very happy customer!! You need to hire A 1 like I did!

He then showed me what to do to install them. There was NO CHARGE! This family has an UNSURPASSED honesty factor and I will never use any other company for my Garage Door needs! Thank You JACOB!

We chose Legacy because it is a local, independent business and he did a wonderful job on our first project, a storage shed for our backyard. The price he quoted was reasonable and fair. The final price was close to the original quote. However, the project took twice as long to complete. Nevertheless, as we saw the progress of the project and the high quality of work being done, we became less concerned about the timeline of completion. We are extremely pleased with the aesthetics of our new living space. More importantly, we watched the construction of Michael's work. He was cognitive of cost, yet he never compromised on the quality and workmanship. Shortly after the job was completed, we had our HVAC technician come in to clean our furnance. The firt thing he said was, "Wow, what a beautiful floor!" Everyone that walks into our basement mentions how beautiful everything turned out. The bathroom with a full size walk-in shower looks far more expensive than it actually cost. We are extremetly pleased with Legacy Doors and More and the subcontractors that Michael hired for the plumbing and electrical work.

I got their information from the LiftMaster dealer page and ended up talking with Steve the owner. Steve was great on the phone and took the time to answer all of my questions. He ended up recommending the LiftMaster 8550 with battery backup, keyless entry, and smartphone control. Turns out this is the very same garage door opener Steve has on his home--which was a good sign. We scheduled Steve to come over the next day and install my new LiftMaster. I was really happy he was available to come over so quickly. I'm used to having to schedule service calls or appointments for my home a week out. Steve showed up at the promised time the next day and got right to work. Turns out he's has been installing and repairing garage doors for over 45 years! It's rare to find people with such a wealth of expertise, but Steve's got it. I suspect he's been working on garage doors for so long that he's probably gotten more about garage doors than most other professionals ever learned. With the installation finished I helped Steve clean-up and we tested it out. My new LiftMaster 8550 looked great and functioned perfectly. I'm really happy with it because it's much, much quieter than my older chain-driven Genie, more responsive when controlled via remote, and the iPhone app is pretty cool too. It's also worth mentioning that I priced out this same LiftMaster 8550 package with another company and they $200 more expensive! After some negotiation they offered me $100 off, but that was still more than $100 more than Steve's price. I really appreciate that Steve didn't try to gouge me and quoted me a fair price. If you're looking for help with your garage door or need a new door installed I recommend giving Steve a call. He's a great person to do business with.

After requesting quotes from four local garage door installers in or near the Sandy area, we…read moredecided on AAA Garage Door for multiple reasons. Those include 1.) the best installed turnkey price for a new white Amarr 16'x7' Classica #CL3000 3-panel frosted window garage door with new Liftmaster 87504-267 belt drive garage door opener, 2.) bid responsiveness, and 3.) the customer service by the owner of AAA, Scott B. and his installation crew. After a downpayment to get the door ordered from Amarr, we waited around four weeks for the scheduled installation...which took place on the afternoon of Sept 12th. AAA's Tyler, Stockton, and Cash all hustled on the demolition of our 19+ year "contractor special" 4-panel door and vintage Genie screw-drive opener (which was OK, but the lights-on feature was broken and there were no safety devices on the door). That and the hockey puck dents in the door from the boys 15 years ago. The new door went up slower as all of the rails, spring shaft, springs, and associated hardware had to be brand new (due to the three-panel design). Then a fair amount of time was spent adjusting and aligning the door so that it was 'just right'. Tyler then gave me a grand tour of the new door, inside and outside controls, and maintenance (lubrication points.) Scott B, the owner of AAA even came by to check on the installation and installed the inside and exterior keypads himself. Overall, my wife and I are very pleased with AAA and the quality of the Amarr door...not to mention a tier 1 installation by Tyler, Stockton, and Cash who hustled and provided a fair amount of comic relief during the 3-hour installation process. My only complaint is that the Liftmaster #87504-267 opener - with its built-in security camera and cellphone app called "MyQ" is only free for 30 days (camera support.) After that, a subscription with Liftmaster (Chamberlain) is required. Bummer. But the camera-to-cellphone interface works great and is a nice security and peace-of-mind feature. It was a pleasure working with Scott B throughout the process and we are very pleased with the results. Five Stars for sales, installation, value, and support! Thanks, guys!
