We got an offer accepted in April and closed in June. Rob was a very responsive and punctual agent. Rob's feedback to properties were very honest and as first time home buyer's we would have missed those aspect if he had not mentioned it. There was a property with a major tilt and Rob pointed it out...it was making us dizzy. It was great having Rob to help answer our questions about the roof, the heater, water boiler, septic tank age and so much more. He would also provide comps of similar properties that sold recently in the area. Overall, we had a great experience with Robbie and would highly recommend him.

Signal Real Estate = Justin Rollo = A+++…read more Buying a home for the first time is an exciting experience but it can also be nerve-wrecking when the real estate market is hot, people are buying in cash, and properties are flying off the market in less than 24 hours. People give conflicting info, negotiations go back and forth, and the massive amount of paperwork - it can all make your head spin. However, my husband and I found an ally in Justin Rollo who guided us newbies through the entire process. Justin has more than just the basics down. He knows the Boston-area market stats, understands asking price vs. value, and is always accessible via phone and email. What puts him over the top is that he is client-focused and realistic. He catered to what we wanted - humoring us with comps when we insisted on crunching the numbers ourselves even though he already did it. I know, we are geeks. Our situation was probably more complex than most. We wanted to finance our purchase with a VA loan which meant more hoops to jump thru and an extended timeline. Even though this resulted in several non-winning offers on a few properties, Justin remained committed to finding us the right place and had our back even when we received some less than standard (*ahem* shady) counter offers. He took his time with us and we never felt rushed. An important differentiator about Justin is that he delivers a hands-on experience which it doesn't end when the contracts are signed. He will go to your inspections, deliver down payments, meet you at 730AM to check repairs before closing, email you back after hours, and even communicates with the seller about issues AFTER closing. He is on his game all the time and we lucked out with a solid agent in Justin. TLDR: Justin has his clients best interest in mind and gets it done. Highly recommended.

That is to say if you want a dedicated, intelligent, highly experienced broker with deep integrity and a super kind heart. I first met Hillary about 7 years ago, just a month after my mom had passed. My mom had left me her two family home in the Wollaston section of Quincy. I live in NYC, and everyone & anyone around me at the time strongly advised that I sell the house. When I met with Hillary during this time period, I had expected her to advise the same. From my previous experience in the real estate business, I'm aware that a sale is a lucrative and desire commodity; certainly over the rental market. Much to my surprise, Hillary suggested that I keep the property as an investment, and rent out the two units. I intuitively trusted her expertise; and most importantly, her humanity (not necessarily a common trait in business). I took her advice, and in just over six years, my house DOUBLED in value. When I was recently ready to sell, Hillary was (& is) the only agent in the business that I would consider working with. Unsurprisingly, Hillary brokered an accepted offer in less than two weeks, for TOP market value; and we closed in less than one month. Due primarily to Hillary's diligence, determination to make a deal advantageous for both parties, and her warm & gracious style.; the entire deal went smoothly from the first day to the closing. My only regret is that I don't own a another home in Boston, just for the fun and ease of working with Hillary all over again-:) Additionally, ALL of folks that Hillary collaborates with to make a selling a home successful transaction (including lawyers, contractors, etc) are reliable, dependable, and honest. Deciding when or if to put a home on the market can be a stressful proposition. However, if you're lucky enough to have Hillary Birch selling your property, you will be in the very best of hands.
