They said they could fix them, and because of how unacceptable the original cupcakes were, I had no choice but to wait. It would have been absolutely unacceptable to show up to the event with what they originally presented me with. Because of this, I was late to the party that I was responsible for setting up. Once they were fixed, they had to rush to do the best work they could in the short amount of time they had. I appreciate that they tried to make things right, but I can't help but feel that the final result could have looked so much better if my original order had been followed in the first place and they hadn't been forced to rush. We were finally ready to hurry to the event, but thankfully, I checked the 4" cake that came with the bundle before leaving. I had specifically asked for it to say "engaged," only to find that it said "engaded." So, I had to wait even longer and was even more late to the event. I was told that the owner would reach out to me to resolve the situation and address the experience I had, but I have now been left on read for going on two weeks. After spending over $500, I expected much better communication, attention to detail, and customer service. I understand that mistakes happen, but I believe it's how a business handles those mistakes afterward that truly matters. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting to hear from the owner. We tried to reach out to her several times, but she has failed to respond. Which was also consistent with trying to get a hold of her through out the process. Although cake did taste good and all the other items were great, she definitely can not make a wedding cake.
