The guy at the front desk had so much knowledge about all the things and was very patient with all of our questions... Also they are Dog Friendly so even Kevin our Schnauzer got to participate and see the dog pictures on the wall. The staff came out to greet him. It just melted my heart. I was drawn to a nice selection of metal prints by the artist Arunas Zilys. The one I really liked I did not purchase, and I have since regretted that decision until today. I called the shop and spoke with Kassady, who was super helpful. I was able to purchase the piece I liked (thankfully they still had it) and arrange for it to be shipped. If you find yourself in downtown Cambria and like art, don't miss this place. They have a great selection, a beautiful gallery and knowledgeable and helpful staff. Five stars. p.s. - my order arrived the next day in perfect condition, very well packaged.

We were directed over to Mission Gallery from Ephraim Gallery, since we do like Arts and Crafts…read morework, and the owner said this had a similar sensibility We lucked into a gallery opening, featuring one of the printmakers from the gallery, who was giving a fascinating demonstration of her linoleum block prints. She chatted with the patrons during the lively demonstration, as she made the prints come to life. The wall behind her was filled with colorful interpretations of her view of the natural world. The display of the art is thoughtful, and work by the each artist is displayed together. There is also a variety of colorful scarves, tablecloths, and textile handbags available to brighten up any room. I also responded to the intensely colored prints and ceramics which graced the walls. The art glass animals shimmered in the afternoon light, inviting me to take one home, where it could become part of my menagerie. We will return to enjoy this display again!

Even more the second day that I hadn't seen the first day. I think because i felt more welcome and could enjoy looking more. I fell in love with Frank Massarella's work. I learned his pottery is new to the store. I bought 6 of his pieces! The detail is lousy beautiful. I also bought two pieces from Jay Trenchard. I love these beautiful goblets. I can't wait to use these pieces to plate my cooking creations. And thank you to the women I met the second day. She is what made me feel welcome and the reason I bought. She was even so kind to offer to help me walk to my car with all my purchases.

I walked by a whimsical warrior statue constructed of welded metal outside the gallery, then strolled in. Two peasant girls in a realist painting in the doorway with a sign with the words, "stand with Ukraine" welcomed me into the store, and promised interesting work to come. I was also captivated by the bright design quality of the iconic smiley face and "Hello Kitty" assemblages made from 60's enamel flower pins. A hand worked wooden mosaic table by David Ball also caught my eye. Its curvy cylindrical shape and smooth mosaiced surface would be a stunning addition to any room. The Vault has been at the same location for thirty years, and is a proven cultural venue to the art scene in San Luis Obispo county!

I've been wanting a sweatshirt that says Cambria on it. I found one that I liked but wasn't the right size. The gentleman at the front greeted me and told me if I needed anything to let him know and that he can also customize things. I asked him how long it took. He said right away. But then of course the size I wanted wasn't in stock. Go figure. He offered to order it and make it and then ship it to me. I asked what the turn around time was. He said he would have it out by Monday. It literally took him 3 or 4 days and he shipped it out Monday. It was so fast! I literally got it two days after that. I loved the way it came out. I also did ask for something and he said he can do it but it won't turn out the best. I was grateful for his honesty. Their customer service was top notch! I will definitely be back to visit next year and see what else I might find.
