It was an absolutely amazing experience. I scheduled my appointment directly with Moe and he kept in constant communication up until the day of the appointment. Yes the place is very laid back and provides a very chill calm environment but it's also very clean and accommodating to everyone that walks thru the door. Can I mention how clean and cool the bathroom is? Listen women look at these things it's in our DNA sorry. That being said, because we were a group of 5 women (some nervous some excited all very talkative individuals) it definitely took a while for Moe to get to everyone yet at no point did he show any signs of frustration with us or acted like he was trying to rush us out the door. Moe took his time and did absolutely beautiful and clean work. He freehanded several of the tattoos to the liking of each of us. Oh and he also made sure we had water and snacks while we were there. I don't know about you, but I can say with complete and absolute certainty that this certainly not the typical tattoo shop that I've been to. Good service is a rare find these days so when you find it...you keep it. These people that are complaining about losing deposits...I'm not sure if they understand the concept of deposits but reading their complaints makes no sense...deposits protect the business from people booking appointments and not showing up...if the artist tried to accommodate them at a later time and they still didn't wish to schedule their appointment then that's on them. Hope this review helps someone looking for a good shop and artist. Do yourself a favor and book with Moe at Gold Rush Collective Tattoo.

I paid for at least one of her tattoos at this place as well as some others at other places, and this one is the one that we both agree is the sexiest. And the most professional too. Call ahead and schedule your appointment, research your piercer, and for the sake of all bloody piercings do not drink beforehand. This clean, sanitized, converted house is a pretty unassuming Montrose gem. A septum piercing will run you $60, which seems fair. The facility uses implant-grade titanium and the piercing itself is over in two minutes or less. I'd recommend their piercer for a friend considering piercing their septum. Although, I should have asked additional questions, to prepare me for aftercare she's super real. Will it hurt? Because there's such a wide variance in pain tolerance, I can't speak to any experience besides my own. I'm super pain tolerant but I'd say the pain from the piercing process itself (for the septum) was about a 4. While it feels like the needle is piercing in slow motion, the pain only lasts a few seconds, BUT your process truly begins after the piercing, as aftercare and maintenance will determine how the piercing heals...yall, I wasn't ready! I'm only a week or so post piercing so I'm unable to speak to longterm care, but Im finally beyond the super sore, painful, no one touch anywhere around my nose phase, and I love my piercing.
