From the owner: Adventure Awaits Fido! is a small, owner-operated dog boarding and daycare retreat located on a…read morepeaceful lake in the woods of Banks County, Georgia. This is not a high-volume commercial kennel. It’s a calm, nature-based, small-group experience designed for dogs who thrive with close supervision, enrichment, and meaningful social time. I live on the property where the dogs stay. The boarding area is just steps from my front door (approximately 20 feet away), and dogs are monitored overnight via cameras. Because I intentionally limit the number of dogs in my care, each guest is fully known and closely supervised. Dogs enjoy a home-like environment with indoor and outdoor options. Most of the day is spent rotating between rest, play, sniffing, and enrichment activities in small, carefully managed playgroups. New dogs are introduced slowly and individually to assess temperament and comfort level before joining group play. Think summer camp for dogs — a safe, structured, lakeside retreat. We call it Camp Fido. Services Offered: Dog Boarding Small-group, owner-supervised boarding with overnight monitoring and enrichment options. Dog Daycare Limited-capacity daycare with indoor/outdoor play, structured supervision, and socialization. In-Home Pet Sitting Overnight pet sitting in your home for dogs who are most comfortable in their own environment. Drop-In Visits Midday potty breaks, feeding visits, medication administration, and check-ins while you’re away.

We used Platinum Dog Grooming from the time they opened and enjoyed them greatly. Unfortunately,…read morethey have been bought out by the K9 Inn. We brought our dog there on Aug 3rd, 2022, not knowing Platinum had been bought out. There was no sign of any price increases and they did not inform us of those increases at drop off time. With the old owners in charge, they would call us three, or sometimes four hours later to come pick up our dog. The new owners called a mere 1.5 hours later to pick up our German Shepherd and she didn't smell fresh like Platinum owners made her smell. They told me it would be a extra $10 for two squirts of fragrance. Fragrance? She should be cleaned properly so you don't have to put fluffy perfume cover-up on the dog. We declined the "cover-up" and asked for the total. The gentlemen asked me how much we paid before. I told him $50. He said it would be $55 as they had to raise prices. Ok, we accepted that, but barely two days later our inside dog smelled like she did when we brought her for the bath. Didn't understand why but we presumed that maybe because they had her out in one and a half hours versus three hours likely had something to do with it. So today, September 14, 2022, we tried again thinking last time they were new at the business and maybe they just had a bad day on August 3rd. When I picked our dog up this afternoon I asked what type of shampoo they used last time because she smelled two days later. The clerk said she'd check and came back to tell me they used a different type of shampoo on her today. It was time to pay and, of course, I thought it was $55 like last time. The lady then told me it would be $85. I'm sorry, what? For what? The clerk informed me, "We used the Dremel to do her nails". I replied I never asked for that service, so she removed the fee. Then she told me the new price was now $65. What? Why? "Because she is a big dog", said the clerk. I decided not to argue with her about $10, but to instead "vote with my feet" so I paid $65 but we will never return. Here's a suggestion. Why not tell everyone you, for the second time in as many months, have raised the prices! I departed for home but driving down the road, I had to drop the windows because our dog smelled like the perfume counter at the department store. I will be looking for another place for her to have a bathed. If you decide not to heed my warning and venture inside to have any kind of pet treatments performed, BUYERS BEWARE and make sure you pin K9 Inn down on the price before you drop off your four-legged family member.
