My child has been attending since the day they opened their doors, she is treated like family from the time she arrives until I pick her up. I've never experienced an issue, the communication is number 1. They even do quality care checks to make sure your child is thriving at home. They make it so easy that all you have to do is drop your child off. They provide nutritional food choices, diapers and wipes. If your looking for a nice clean quality daycare please look into them. I promise you won't be disappointed.

The teacher Christina Willson is extremely rude she yelled at me for "knocking on the door to loud"…read moreafter I was out there waiting to pick my kids up for over 10mins. I knocked regularly the first time then 10mins later knocked a littler harder to make sure they heard me. We also had an incident where my kids (2 boys age 3 and 5) came home in the same diappers/pull ups they had on when they were dropped off. They were their 8.5 hrs and wasn't changed once! The teacher has now been doing petty things ever since I asked her about my kids being in the same diappers. She calls and says they need picked up for "rashes" (we went to the doctor and was confirmed it wasn't a rash) ect. Just very unprofessional on how they treat the parents and some child neglect happening there. Wouldn't take your children there!!!

Such an awesome daycare! It was like night and day switching from another local daycare. The staff…read moreand owner were super friendly. I only needed my son to go there after school, so he wasn't there all day. But after my previous daycare told me they weren't willing to get my son off the van for school, I found this place. They were more than willing to help with my son and the van. Their prices were very reasonable. There were never any issues if my son was sick or couldn't be there for the day. I usually just called to tell them not to expect him on those days. They worked with my schedule regarding days he was there, getting him off the van on half days (or any days that were different than usual drop off times), and allowing me to come anytime to get him. They didn't charge for sick days. Also, they got to know your schedule and car so they would have them ready when they saw you pull in. You didn't have to be there consistently at the same time every day as they didn't need you to tell them your weekly schedule. This meant they wouldn't charge you if you were late or yell if you came too early (like the other daycare).

Super friendly staff. No charge if your child doesnt go the whole week. Which is very rare. Would…read morerecommend to anybody!

For anyone that reads the above bad review and takes it into consideration when choosing day care…read moreproviders, just know, that review is crap and please disregard. The inconvenient truth is, most people don't write reviews when they are happy with their service. Something small business owners have to deal with, hence why they ask people they are comfortable with (i.e., friends and family) to review online to help their business grow. What actually speaks volumes is that out of the 2 of 4 reviews on their Google Page, and the ONE review on yelp is a bad review (BOTH from the same guy). Which means, out of allllllll the years they spent servicing the community with exceptional day care for children ages Newborn to 12 years old, that guy is the only one who has had such an "awful" experience. - Sincerely, A very thankful and happy mother of two children who have had the best care and experience with Small Impressions for the past 4 years.

Employees spend most of the day smoking cigarettes behind the building while the older children are expected to entertain the younger kids. Then they return to work and handle children and food without washing their hands.......... We have been repeatedly over charged in the last two years. Charged the incorrect amounts and charged for days are child was not even scheduled or present at the daycare. Chelsea specifically was very rude and horrible. Her attitude and behavior to the children in her care is unacceptable. I highly recommend you take your business to another daycare if at ALL POSSIBLE! Use this place a very LAST RESORT for your children. The only positive Google review are from staff employees.

The teachers are fantastic, the programs are challenging academically, but fun, and everyone I've met here has been so kind. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. My oldest son is in the kindergarten program here, which I highly recommend. The class size is small, so he gets more personalized attention, and Miss Kasey is the best. He has learned far more than I could've imagined at his age!

They make you feel just like family. We had just relocated to the area from out of town, and were unable to find pre-K, which was my goal, but after finding Little House, we opted to put him in a 4 day Kindergarten program instead with the intention of doing Kindergarten again the following year at Mars. What he learned in that year of 4 day half day Kindergarten FAR exceeded what he is learning this year in Mars kindergarten, sadly. His education was amazing, he thrived in math, and made so much progress in every area. We just loved it. We are keeping our fingers crossed that our now 4 year old can go there this year!

I used Hiland Child Care as my child care provider for 4 years and had no issues by any means. JoAnn was a great Director and was easy to work with and loved all the kids, but also taught right from wrong. Evelyn is as sweet as they come and is a major asset to Hiland, and now she is Director! Annie has joined as Assistant Director and is doing a great job! The two of them make a great team in moving the Center forward and innovating the technology and resources available to them to give the kids a more in-depth early education experience. The staff is also very caring and adamant about the kids learning, having fun and preparing for kindergarten (or to hone the skills they are getting in grade school). Overall, Hiland is doing a great job with the children in their care. They are aware that these kids are our future and doing everything they can to make them polite, caring, understanding beings that have the skills to communicate and learn and thrive.

When I complained, it got worse. Joann began lying uncontrollably in a retaliatory message containing unheard of allegations about my daughter. I presented this to the board and they believed everything that Joann asked them to believe. They even said that this was "professional". Do not send your children here. They will undoubtedly hate it if they come into contact with Joann or Evelyn. You will complain and they will lie to you and the board is clueless as to how to investigate these issues. You learn a lot about a place by the way they handle complaints and the way they handled my complaint was disturbing. They were not forthcoming, nor honest. My kids hated it because of these two individuals. It really is a shame because I feel that many of the other staff have been lovely to my kids.

STAFF: There are 1-2 staff per class. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, understanding, and…read morehelpful. Not a day goes by that I don't receive a warm welcome at the door or input on how to deal with a new behavior. FACILITY: Each room is fully decorated with kids' art - and is frequently changed with the season and corresponding holidays. Each kid has their own (or a shared) cubby. There is a mountain of toys and books throughout the classrooms. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are always exceptionally clean. A argument could be made for the lack of natural light in the building - although, I like the fact that our son is in a safe environment with limited windows and a single point of entry that is near the director's office. OUTDOOR SPACE: The pick-up/drop-off lane and parking areas are all clearly marked - with plenty of room for everyone. I've never had an issue. There is an outdoor play space, which, to be honest, is a bit small; however, as you can see, the size of the space is only one of two minor complaints I have. ACTIVITIES: Seasonal parties, visitors (e.g. balloon artist, Children's Museum puppeteers, etc.), options for the Gymagic Bus or Happy Feet programs, movie days, and other fun special events are a part of the regular monthly schedule. There are also weekly slots for a music teacher, the use of sensory bins, and designated days for the letter and number of the week. COMMUNICATION: We receive a daily "report card" detailing our child's mood, meals, nap, diapers, and activities. We receive a monthly newsletter and calendar that covers all activities, curriculum, and other notes of interest. Simply, the open line of communication is exactly what I would expect and prefer. OVERALL: We are very happy with APTG and everything it has to offer. We are confident that our child is receiving the very best type of education, interaction, and activities. We know he is in good hands every single day. He is happy to go to school - and even more excited to tell us about his day. We've found that he is not only developmentally on par with other children his age but often exceeds even our own high expectations for him. I wholeheartedly endorse APTG as a superb childcare learning center for even the choosiest of parents.
