When we moved to the area, it was the top priority to find a great daycare for my sons. LH has been such a blessing to my family, and they treat us like we are part of their family. The teachers are fantastic, the programs are challenging academically, but fun, and everyone I've met here has been so kind. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. My oldest son is in the kindergarten program here, which I highly recommend. The class size is small, so he gets more personalized attention, and Miss Kasey is the best. He has learned far more than I could've imagined at his age! read more

My son attended Kindergarten last year at Little House, and we were thrilled! Not only was the education that he received there amazing, but the overall experience was second to none. They make you feel just like family. We had just relocated to the area from out of town, and were unable to find pre-K, which was my goal, but after finding Little House, we opted to put him in a 4 day Kindergarten program instead with the intention of doing Kindergarten again the following year at Mars. What he learned in that year of 4 day half day Kindergarten FAR exceeded what he is learning this year in Mars kindergarten, sadly. His education was amazing, he thrived in math, and made so much progress in every area. We just loved it. We are keeping our fingers crossed that our now 4 year old can go there this year! read more

Downsides include all the struggles of smaller districts, including the selection of AP and other advanced courses, dominating personalities you may not like, and of course, resource allocation you may not agree with. This is a sprawling, rural district so your child may sit on the bus a very long time. STEM teachers are stellar. Focus overall is still on education.

She was talking to a grown adult who is an employee of the district as if I was a total idiot and had no clue what I was talking about. Absolutely and utterly rude. Not to mention while I was attending school the secretaries are anything but pleasant. Couldn't you at least try to be kind while dealing with people are just trying to better their education? You're literally just doing your job. Stop being so b*tchy. Maybe the higher-ups should teach their older employees some manners. I wouldn't be shocked if this is how they talk to parents.... disrespectful.

When it comes to learning the teachers only care about the keystones/ sat tests, instead of caring about the knowledge we need to graduate. Also, they say it is very diverse and welcoming. That is not true at all. If you want to be friends with people in that school it is not easy and your mental state drains when trying to fit in. Finally, the amount of drugs that go around that school is crazy for how much they praise drugs are bad for you. Please take this into consideration before making your decision

Teachers turning her back on her while she was crying, playing keep away with her blanket and binkie, not allowing her outside with her blanket even though other kids had theirs outside. Completely unbelievable that the "teachers" were more concerned about chatting amongst themselves then comforting a crying child, getting annoyed with her. Maybe working with toddlers isn't for them. It took every ounce of willpower not to flip out on the staff as I pulled my child out early to keep her from getting treated like an annoyance. For the amount of money it costs us, we expect more than the bare minimum from those watching our child. At that point, they might as well sit them all in front of a TV and turn on Disney+. So much for a learning environment.

Holten came out and I explained what was going on with the basement bathroom. We walked around talking about different way to figure out what was causing the smell and he "I'm going to just walk around and check things out" within 1 minute he yelled out "found it". Under the sink in the bathroom and vent check valve was missing. The contractor plumber never installed it when the house was built 2 years ago. He said he could fix it right now and gave a very reasonable price. I said go ahead and within 30 minutes he had fixed a problem I had been dealing with for the last two years. He was very knowledgeable and even found a pipe that was not glued when he was installing the valve and fixed that as well I would highly recommend this business for their expertise and value for what they do. I added them in my phone as the first business to call for my plumbing needs.

Unfortunately at that time we weren't ready to move forward with the project. Fast forward to now. I had reached back out, Mike had double checked the measurements and provided and updated quote. We had the door ordered and once it arrived we had the installation scheduled. The installation team was great they communicated their estimated arrival and did a thorough job installing the new door. They also walked through features of the opener and how to sync to the keypad.
