My friend and I stopped by for lunch and ordered the T1 Moon Spicy Rice Cake (tteok-bokki) along with the chicken katsu. Service was fairly quick, and the ambience was simple--nothing particularly memorable. We shared both dishes. The chicken katsu itself was nicely prepared, but the accompanying sauces were underwhelming and not really to my taste. The tteok-bokki, on the other hand, was well made and genuinely enjoyable. Overall, it's a pretty solid spot, and I'd come back to try more of their menu.

This place is great for lunch as food comes out fast. They also offer a good selection of drinks like Dalgona coffee and sparling ade. Two of us sat down and ordered Tuna Mayo Kimbap $8.99 and Beef Brisket Spicy Rice cake $18.99. It was just enough food, no leftover. It's a solid meal for the price.

I had a great lunch at Moon's kitchen this past weekend! The two of us split a ham gimbap ($8), jjajang udon rice cakes ($18), and a pork katsu cheese curry ($16) - this was a LOT of food! The restaurant was quite busy on a Saturday at 3pm. The ham gimbap was very generous sized - excellent and a great way to start the meal. The tteokboki portion was huge, and it came out on a hot plate. I thought the jjajang flavor was excellent and went well with the udon, fish cakes, and rice cakes. The pork katsu came out in a cast iron with sizzling cheese. The breading and fry on the katsu was excellent - and it was so yummy with the melted cheese. The curry comes on the side so that the katsu stays nice and crispy. Overall, we had a great meal at this restaurant. I would definitely come back. There's lots of parking in the strip mall, and it's only a 10 minute walk from the new Federal Way light rail station!!

I was craving some Korean street food and made the genius decision to try Moon's Kitchen out. We had their tteokbokki and added gimmari (seafood roll), spicy tuna mayo cupbap, and tonkatsu. Everything was seasoned well and the tonkatsu was so crunchy and juicy. The tteokbokki was tasty but the Rick cakes were a touch over done. Otherwise, it was the exact flavor I hoped for. The vibes hit the spot as well, with the lively and fun music playing. The staff were all friendly and service was quick. I look forward to going back and trying more things!

It's a so-so place overall, but they do have some solid Korean hot dishes that are comforting and filling. The katsu was good and probably my favorite thing I tried. Service was good, and the staff were nice and friendly, which made the experience better. Small and cute spot. It's an okay place to try if you're in the area and want Korean comfort food.

Easy parking, clean interior, great service, and overall I don't have any complaints. The food tasted great. I usually go to Seoul tofu house, but we wanted to try something new. Will likely add this place into my rotation.

The food is great! I tried the bulgogi and tuna kimbap. Both were great. I usually don't prefer cucumbers in kimbap but they julienne the cucumbers and soak them in salt or something so it's not just a raw piece of cucumber. So it's quite nice. The kimbap as are quite large and make a great appetizer. I've tried both the pork and chicken katsu. Both tasted great but I preferred the chicken. The breading was much more crisp and airy. The spicy jjolmyun was one of my favorites. It is quite spicy and the noodles are so chewy. The Sophie slushy was good but I missed the rice part of it which wouldn't work in a slushy. Nice flavor though. The restaurant is spacious and has chair and booth seating. The chairs are the type where you can open the top and put your purse or coat in. Service to order was quick. The food came out one at a time but if you're eating family style it works out.

Food was delicious at this locally owned small business. The service was slow as they were understaffed but they did try their best. Clean restaurant and overall pretty modern. This is a casual dining experience. The individual hot pot was filling, I recommend T2 the Brisket with Spicy Ricecake. Two people can easily share one order. Pork Katsu Cheese Curry was also delicious. Moon's Udon was good but nothing special..served in a light dashi broth. Good value, will be back when I'm in the area.

A cozy shop with delicious Korean street food and it's just as good as when I was in S.Korea As much as I want to give it a higher rate I couldn't get over the amount of fruit flies there were. It was a bit of a nuisance of them flying in my face the entire time For service - our waitress is very friendly and sweet it did get slightly busier and she was the only one running around taking everyone's order and bringing the food out. One thing about my meal was I asked for instant noodles with my spicy brisket rice cake. (which was yummy) She however informed me that it already comes with it and when it came out it did not come with noodles. We also ordered the chicken katsu - the portion for this was huge, very juicy and crispy I enjoyed this Overall if you're in the mood for some Korean street food and price is fair this would be the place to visit. I will most likely be ordering this as a take out since I was very bothered by the fruit flies.

I can't wait to go back! The food was very tasty and felt comforting. The price was very affordable too! I really enjoyed the katsu curry and tuna kimpop

Had high hopes of this place but was disappointed with the service and food. The server was very busy and impatient throughout the dining experience. She was more concerned about wanting to turn off the fire as soon as the soup came out. I thought the point of the "hot pot" is so the ingredients are continuing cooking throughout. I understand that the majority of the ingredients are pretty much cooked when they came out of the kitchen, but I usually prefer my rice cakes to cook longer to soak in the flavors and the cabbage to be softer as well. It would have been nice if she had asked whether we would like to turn off the fire or not rather than just stormed in, turned it off, and walked away without us even realizing what happened. The soup itself is rather unimpressive, maybe it could have been better if we ordered the spicy type. The gimbap is what I'm most disappointed with. I think the presentation look very nice but it's lacking any flavors, I think even the hmart gimbap are more favorable and tasted better than these. Also when we checked out, the server unexpectedly charged another additional item on our bill by mistake. Make sure you double check your bill before you pay. Place does come with a huge parking lot which is nice, but I would have rather gone to the Korean restaurant next door instead.

Moon's Kitchen nails the balance between fast service and flavorful comfort food in a clean, modern Asian setting that feels both fresh and welcoming. The minimalist decor, accented with wood and warm lighting, creates a calm and casual vibe that's perfect for a quick lunch or relaxed dinner. I ordered the GoongJoong tteok-bokki and was pleasantly surprised; it's not the heavy, spicy version, but it had a light, sweet soy glaze with just enough seafood aroma to keep it interesting without overpowering. Delicate, balanced, and super easy to keep eating. The real standout was the bulgogi cupbap. Perfectly portioned layers of tender beef, fluffy rice, pickled daikon, and a touch of creamy mayo made every bite taste just as good as the first. It's rare to find a dish that feels so consistent and satisfying all the way through. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to--and recommending. Quick, tasty, and thoughtfully done.

Good spot when you want a little bit of everything. The portions were good and the food was very flavorful! We went during dinner time so they were very busy but super quick. Excited to go back and try new things !

Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Ordering through the QR code was simple and the food came out quickly. Most dishes were delicious, though a few dim sum items were slightly over steamed - the wrappers were very soft and stuck to the parchment paper. Several of us also tried different ramens, which had a rich broth and thick pieces of char siu. The portion size made it a great value. Prices felt fair for the quality and service. I do wish the large tables has a lazy Susan to make sharing dishes easier. Overall, I'd come back, but it's not necessarily a top pick if you're looking for standout dim sum and ramen.

I put in a simple order for my son & I. My son's pho & side of rice came out within 10-15 minutes. I waited for our spring rolls & my vermicelli bowl well after my son had started eating. I asked about my food just before 7pm to which I was told it was still being worked on. I paid my tab then asked a short time later that I'd like the remaining food to go. At 7:15pm I went up to the register to request a refund for the items I never received. I was asked if I had paid my bill (by the same young lady that took my payment). I handed her my receipt & she informed me that my food had been ready. It's unclear why, it was never brought out. I had told her that we had been waiting for an extended period of time to which she agreed. I pointed out that another two person table, that arrived after us, had been served their food before us. The young lady plainly told me that it was out of her control since there were new people in the back. No apology just an excuse. No one took responsibility for the disorganization in the back. I again requested a refund only to hear that she didn't know how to do a refund. I'm the end, I was given the cash for the two items minus the taxes. I've been to this establishment in the past & never have I experienced this type of situation. Hopefully, it was just a one off because they have excellent food. For now, I have no desire to return

We were also misled in the fact that we thought we could get fried chicken here only to find out they don't have it on their menu anymore. This was during a Friday evening around 6pm, and my friend and I got seated immediately since the restaurant was empty. You've got a lot of tables inside that are relatively clean and seat mostly groups of 4 or so. News in Korean is playing on a TV nearby, and the interior just feels calming with the uniform wooden floors and tables. Menu is limited here though most of it is for their traditional hangover soups. My friend and I wanted some meat dishes so we got both their spicy pork and beef bulgogi on sizzling grills. Both meats came sizzling when brought to our table, though they weren't piping hot from what I remember. Spicy pork was hard to chew at times, and my friend had to spit out one piece because it was too hard. It wasn't too spicy though I think it would have benefited from more spice since the flavor wasn't too strong. The beef bulgogi was both of our favorites, though the color wasn't too appealing and I felt there was a ton of liquid, as if the beef was plated before all the water evaporated from the pan. Service was top-notch for both of us, though. Staff were attentive in answering our questions, grabbing our utensils and getting us water when we asked. I felt this was a one-off visit because we didn't get the dishes this place is more well-known for, so I'll come back again to have their hangover soups instead.

I'm.. weak, the spicy one was too spicy for me and next time I'll avoid it. Still, all the chicken was juicy and crispy and excellent. My friends got the green onion chicken-- delicious and I think they shred an entire HMart bundle of scallions onto the single dish. Soup: We got the brisket soup. I had too much chicken and side dishes (which they regularly replenished!) to really have much of it, but what I had was clear and tasty. I'm not really in this area much, but I'd recommend it to others! The location is a little odd and tucked away in a closed plaza, but plenty of parking and the food is good and the staff is quick.
