Family of 5 w/3 5 and under…read more Ample room for everyone, looks like it was just remodeled in bathroom, bedroom, etc. This place has all the amenities you'd require for a comfy stay. Full kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, crock pot, coffee maker, blender, hot-tub, full bathroom, laundry, deck, loft bedroom, etc. Right outside the park & within 5 minutes of 2 local stores, town parks and amenities. TV for movies, game cabinet for fun times. Hot tub was fun, but jets stopped working 2nd night. Control panel looks waterlogged, but still was warm and comfy. Be aware of possible power outages in the winter/storm season. They do have a backup electric powerpack that handled the coffee maker for us and the tree lights for a couple hours. They also have a stash of flashlights and lanterns that will tide you over until the power comes back on. It only went out for us on our last morning there. (there was a huge windstorm the night before that downed some power lines) Would be back if we stayed in the area again.

I would not rent from them ever! We even left early because the room had no heat. The bathroom is right by the back door so the bathroom is freezing at all times, I only took a picture of the hall way to show where the bathroom was to the door and the light switches are very dated and so is everything else in there. They tried to make a garage into a room and the hottest room in the house, the window didn't open so please I would suggest look elsewhere. Please hit me up for the mouse pictures and cobwebs. We didnt stay at the resort itself, but we did rent a paddle board and the customer service was absolutely amazing. The guy working the counter was super friendly and informative. The girl who was also working helped us out with our paddle board and gave us some good pointers. The store is very well stocked and the people staying at the resort were equally as amazing to be around. We spent 2 hours and the board was around 40 bucks. The area is small but its a perfect swimming hole for families and the boat dock is pretty cool too. We will definitely be back. I really want to rent one of their cabins!

I made a group reservation for a long weekend for 4 campsites to celebrate me and my husband's wedding anniversary in August 2023. We both got COVID and unfortunately couldn't go (which was sad enough), but our friends went and celebrated without us! I had put down a deposit of $345 and not knowing this, my sister-in-law paid the $388 for their stay. I called Rimrock Lake Resort to let them know that we had been double charged and they refused to refund the money. When I insisted and said this was not okay, I heard the owner in the background say "just hang up on her" and they did--and have refused to take my calls since. DO NOT TRUST THEM. THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS. I not only was unable to attend my own wedding anniversary, but am out $345 that I will never see again. Truly horrific.

Unfortunately apparently a very loud live band was booked to play rock classics late into the night 5ft from the hotels bedrooms. No shade on the band, they seemed like competent dad rockers, but you try sleeping with your doorframe rattling and the drummer's high hat right in your ears. Who the french-doors has a super loud live act play within spitting distance of your bedroom late into the night. This stuffing is dog jumping ridiculous! There was no mention of this anywhere, there is no way to plan around this.

We arrived just as the annual flea market/fair thingy was ending, and were told that it was an occasion that many plan for each year. Really, I loved the little town. We took a walk and saw some elk wandering the neighborhood, circled back and stopped for yummy pizza, woke up in the morning and walked 5 minutes over to an excellent coffee shop with free wi-fi. Rumor has it you can see Mt Rainier on a clear day. I'm planning to go back and stay longer!

There was one server, one bartender and two cooks. The place was full and the server tried to turn ppl away because they were just overwhelmed. That being said, we ordered and waited well over 1/2 hr for our food. My son's food sat in the pass through a good 15 minutes before it was delivered...cold of course. I ordered chicken strips and fries...I did not get any sauce or ketchup. My husband's meal came out about 15 minutes after ours. Not sure what took so long for a plate of nachos. As for the quality of the food, it was less than expected. The fries were dark brown, way overcooked and greasy tasting. The best part of the meal was the mozzarella sticks, but can you really ruin those? The server was trying, I can't really blame her. She was set up for failure. There was a bartender working. I went into the bar. One table. Yet this poor kid ran her butt off in a FULL dining room with NO help from the bar tender. I can't even complain about the service because I think she was doing the best she could to keep up. I think this is a good hangout for the locals, but during busy summer months they need to step it up and schedule more help.
