The first few minutes (maybe 15?) were spent triggering reflexology points on your face (which was kind of weird) and a slight upper back/arm/hand massage. The rest of the time was spent on your feet...and it was awesome. The guy I had was really, really good and used the perfect amount of pressure. He was also really gentle when moving my head around at the beginning and was really careful in not messing up my hair (which slightly amused me). PERFECT for everyone - especially runners!! This is my new must-go place when I'm in the city.

I have frequently gotten 60-90 minute massages from different massage therapists but you are paying for the whole experience from the moment you walk in at places like this. Not just walking in for a massage and leaving. Don't get me wrong, I have people I love for those needed sessions as well! The check in area is tranquil and light filled and calm. I love all the windows with natural light. You are welcomed and walked into the locker room where you are given a robe and slippers (if needed. I used my sandals). You then take your time and then go into the community relaxation sitting/lounging area. There is fruit infused water and hot water for tea and light little snacks. She provided me with little chocolates because I'm not a fan of macaroons. The area was calm and quiet. The seating was comfortable and private. Then came the best massage. Tameka (I'm so sorry if that is spelled wrong) got some personal info from me about different problem areas we might want to focus on and then gave me a choice of essential oil to use. I went with peppermint that day. 80 minutes was incredible. The hot towels were an awesome touch. She used the right amount of oils. Also, she wasn't chatty throughout the session which can happen some times. She was very friendly and i would request her again.
