If you love Tintin and Smurfs, this is the place you shouldn't miss. If you just happens to like animation, this place is also quite interesting to visit.
I read this museum online, it got my interest very soon. So I decided to give it a visit. The museum itself was very close to the central station, but yet it took some time to find it. Cuz the entrance of this museum was at the back of the main street, I got carry away from other places. Luckily, I saw the big white Smurf And heard some kids were singing the theme song of Smurfs, and eventually found the place.
Once I arrived, I got my ticket and started to explore around. The museum was smaller than I expected, but still looked great. Beside Tintin and Smurfs, they also got other cartoon figures here. There was also a small cinema which played the classic smurfs, I took some of time just enjoy it the film a bit, the "lalala" song very soon reminded me my childhood. It also got a game station for visitors. I did enjoyed my visit here, the only part which a bit turn off for me was the place is not so big.
At the exit, I saw that they also offer many different comics offer visitors to read, quite nice. The gift shop was quite cool as well, small but got many cool stuff, I only wish I got more money could spend on it. The staff were also very friendly and fun.
At the end, I am very happy that I have visited this place. It isn't so big, but much better than I expected. I will like to visit again next time when I am in Brussels. By then, hopefully this place will got more and even cooler collection. read more
