I don't like coming somewhere and not clearly finding the entrance. It's near the Canal, which makes senses because the place is named Canal. I arrived. First thought: very hipster, a mishmash of everything artsy, down to the food. You might not get why it's there or you might feel it's out of place: but if it looks like it belongs in a Sunday market at the prettier part of town, it will be there. Now the exposition: I liked the art itself (it was made by children) but I didn't like the way it was presented. The whole installation took all the attention, you almost forgot you were there to observe children's perspective on children's rights. No, instead you got to feel like you were walking in a vertical labyrinth. It wasn't pleasing. I don't quite understand this place, I hope the vision will be more clear as time goes by. read more
