The first time I went on a weekday in the middle of the day, so it was super empty and not the best because nothing was being made fresh- the meats and potatoes were kind of just sitting in bins so although the flavor was there, the cooled down temperatures really affected the taste. HOWEVER, I visited a few more times after that, these times all late at night, which really turned my experience around. I think at those times there were a lot more people and long lines, so everything was being made fresh and it being hot just made the food taste so so much better. I love how the toppings are all self-serve, and the hot potato is my favorite side. Carne asada, lengua, and al pastor are my go-tos. You'll want to add hellaaa green sauce to everything- I could literally drink that stuff straight. Love the big easy parking lot here, I'll mention that I saw a few security people checking all the cars and plates so I wouldn't recommend trying to park here and walk somewhere else!

I was able to snag two tacos for $4.50 that tided me over until dinner time. Now: bring your car because there's no place to sit! I arrived on foot, so dined standing up. Quite a variety of means - I'm a "safe" eater and enjoyed pollo and asada. I loved the self-serve salsas; the green salsa was delish and had a good little kick to it. Happy to have found this spot, and want to come back! 2026: 32/100

A lot of taco trucks and a few desert options. There was one BBQ spot my friend wanted us to try,…read morebut it wasn't there. I tried a different one where the guy was from Connecticut and "learned how to make BBQ in Pennsylvania". I saw the red flag and still ate there. (Eye roll). The meat was decent, but everything else was ok. Wouldn't go to it a second time because everything was just seasoned with tons of pepper, so much so that I couldn't finish my food. When going to make payment, he was a weasel and was like, "You have to press one of the boxes. I'll turn around so you can press one of the boxes," regarding a tip. Nothing like pressuring someone to tip you when they're already spending money on the food. We ordered dessert from one of the carts and it was delicious! The best part was the little kid handing out samples and describing what all the desserts are to you. Adorable! Good salesman. The sushi cart ( IG @onsitesushi) was pure fire!!!! I do not regret that choice. Had I not gotten sushi, I'd have still been hungry after the mediocre white guy bbq. I had a deep fried California roll. SO GOOD and a rainbow roll to take home, which was also SUPER DELICIOUS! This night market is a MUST! I would definitely go again and hopefully the next time, the churro man, who my friend said was usually there, will be there.

What more can you ask for?…read more Food stalls at a car wash? why not, lol. si por favor! At night, this car wash location turns into a street food lovers dream! There are about 10-15 food stalls and a variety of options for the taco lover in you. They even have bone marrow street tacos! Absolutely delicious. Theres another taco stand that makes fresh tortillas and that was my hands down favorite spot of all the spots in the car wash. You cannot beat fresh tortillas and that makes all the difference. Theres even a wood fired pizza spot which I gotta try next time! This venue is not as large as you might think if you seen it on social but it'll do and its one thousand percent worth a visit for sure.

I regret not going to this place earlier... I've known about…read morethis place for a while now but never had the chance to come. I finally found time to come on a Saturday at night around 10pm and holy cow it did not disappoint. We were indecisive between two places but ultimately decided to come here and I'm so glad we did. It's a pretty big street taco stand located on the curb of the Eagle Rock Target parking lot. We were able to park in the parking lot and walk down to the curb to wait in the pretty long line at 10pm. We waited about 15 minutes before we could actually order our food. The first area is for the queso tacos and burritos. You let them know how many queso-ed tortillas you need for both burritos and tacos. After that, you let them know what meat you want but don't make the same mistake as me because they have a separate area for al pastor. You can choose what toppings/salsas you want! There's 3 different sauces, onions and cilantro, and guacamole that comes with the price of your item! Make sure to bring cash because I think it's cheaper but they also accept credit cards. Food: Queso Asada Taco (10/10): The tacos are LOADED up! The first bite was so delicious, maybe because I was starving. They melt the cheese and put it as your base layer on top of your tortilla. The asada was loaded up on top and I got all the salsas, onions and cilantro, and guacamole. The onions and cilantro adds a nice freshness to the heaviness of everything. The asada was cooked so nicely, there were a few bits of really crispy pieces plus a cheese pull. The asada was perfectly salted and had a smoky flavor to it. I absolutely loved this and will be getting asada in another form. Queso Pastor Burrito (9/10): I NEED this one again but with asada. Like the queso tacos, the cheese crust is on the inside of your burrito and it adds such a nice texture to each bite. The burrito is big and really filling. I have no other words besides, this was amazing and I still think about this. Queso Pastor Taco (8/10): I know that the pastor was the more popular one because it sold out a few minutes after we finished ordering. The pastor had a sweetness to it but overall was on the saltier side (IMO) and I wished it was more smoky. This one was also as equally loaded up as the asada but I personally preferred the asada over pastor. Pastor Potato (7.5/10): This potato was HUGEEEE. I shared this one with my group and we still couldn't finish it. The potato was massive and after eating your tacos, you're already going to be so full. This did unfortunately hold up the line since they had to cut a lot of pastor plus add cheese and wait for that to melt. The 5 of us were already so full, we barely ate half the potato (it's that big). Unfortunately, we all thought that the potato wasn't cooked enough. The potato wasn't soft enough and when we were trying to dig for pieces of the potato, it would just come out in blocks instead of mashed together with all the toppings. I also do wish that the potato itself was salted.

If you're debating whether Angelo's Tijuana Tacos is worth the wait--the answer is 100% yes…read more There's almost always a line, especially during peak hours, but it moves at a decent pace and the food easily justifies it. You can smell the meats grilling from down the street, which is usually your first clue you're in the right place. I usually order the asada taco and al pastor taco, and both are consistently solid. The asada is well-seasoned with a nice char, while the al pastor is juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Toppings are simple--onion, cilantro, salsa--but everything comes together perfectly without needing anything extra. The setup is very much a true street taco experience: a tent on the sidewalk with tables nearby, and you can watch them cook everything fresh right in front of you. It's casual, a little hectic, but that's part of the charm.

Lo and behold, thanks to Christina the business exists on here and has been christened "Jiang Xiang Bing Guy"! Although he was working solo that day, when I decided to return on an empty stomach, he had an assistant helping with seasoning and chopping up the 酱香饼. There were about five folks waiting by the time I got there Sunday evening. The guy with the blue UCLA hoodie was purposefully putting on a show, since he had two phones set up for streaming. Every now and again, when he gets a request from someone, he would say "OK no problem!" and continues with kneading, rolling, and transferring the dough to the big ol' frying machine. At $10 per order, perhaps a part of the cost is the spirited mini-interactions. After paying via Venmo, I showed the gal my phone. 他是老板 she said jokingly as she handed me the food. I had mine mild, and honestly it was a delightfully crispy and savory snack for a cold winter evening.

Intrigued and a lover of street foods, I went last night to check it out hoping he was at the same spot and he was! (Honestly San Gabriel Superstore parking lot be popping with bomb street food stalls and trucks over these past years). The guy was calling his food a Chinese pizza but it's actually a Chinese street food called Jiang Xiang Bing(酱香饼) which basically means "saucy pancake". If you can't speak Chinese(don't worry he does understand English though but he spoke to me in Mandarin by default lol), just give him $10 and he will give you a portion. If you don't have cash, he has QR codes for digital payments and once it goes through you can hear his phone notification from his car. When he's done making the bread and ready to chop it, he will ask you how spicy you want it. You can say "xiao la" for mild or say yes and nod your head for the regular spicy lol. The pan fried flat bread was crispy and the sweet and spicy soy bean sauce really went well with it, I'd get it again!!!

I read…read moresome of the reviews which seemed very exaggerated which created doubt...I was completely corrected. First bite to the last, the meal was delicious. We got a couple of hot sandwiches. A Pastrami and a Philly Cheesesteak which they recommended. It was unbelievable how good the sandwiches were. The rolls were warm and crispy, and the flavors were well balanced. The Pastrami had a brilliant balance between the mustard and pickle. The Philly Cheesesteak had the same brilliant balance with the meat and cheese that was in every bite. I was torn between the two great sandwiches. I'd have to say that this place has become, so far, my favorite spot for a Philly Cheesesteak and Pastrami. This place is a must return kind of place for me to stop by for a bite (even when I'm not hungry), and I can't wait to recommend or bring people here. Chefs made the sandwiches perfectly and were quick to get us our food. No private parking lot. No chairs but only tables to stand and eat your food, but it was worth it. Bring enough $ to tip handsomely, because I'm sure you'll want to.
