She will make your life hell if you decide to move in to these apartments. I am an amazing renter clean, quiet and respectful and she would leave me 30 days to vacate numerous times just because my daughter would rode her bike outside and laugh and play. Thats just one example. Please just don't rent here you will regret trust me.

Monica will give you a notice if your kids are simply outside playing. We lived in a 2 bedroom on one side of Monica, we moved in October of 2016. We had 1 child at the time. We had out 2 child January of 2016. My baby was very colicky and she CONSTANTLY complained. She would call over the DUMBEST things. Then a 3 bedroom became available so we moved into that one, I want to say around April/May of 2017. Unfortunately, it was on the other side of Monica. Same complaints but worse,, walking too hard, I can hear your TV, etc. My husband is a disabled Veteran and slowly got worse, so when we purchased a second vehicle he parked in the handicap spot, she complained about that and said he couldn't do that. THEN she painted over the spot so no one could park there... but she let her kids park there. There were constant issues with our floors. Melissa described it head on, Monica is literally insane! She is a complete nut job. We moved out August 2022 and paid to have the apartment professionally cleaned, it looked great but of course she had something to complain about and we got zero deposit back. The owner, if she still is the owner of the complex, is completely blind to Monica and her power trip.

This hotel should be shut down. I actually can't believe I even let my child stay there with me…read more Upon arrival the lady at the desk could barely speak English. She claimed to have to clean our room before we could check in. She was gone for about 20 minutes, put us in a temporary room that looked like something out of a bad B movie horror film. This was the only place with availability over the Fourth of July so I kinda HAD to take it. I hadn't planned on getting a room but since it was the holiday and I currently reside at home with my Mother, I wanted a little getaway for myself and my son for the weekend. Plus I thought it would be kinda cool to stay in downtown Longview, (which I happen to think might is exactly what I think longview needs a revitalized old town, do a underground tunnel walk-through town like they do an old Williamsburg through old town with the earpieces (I was told that one time there were some tunnels in Longview that are widely known about? use that to drum up revenue )or something that would drum up tourism. the bridge as sightseeing like how they have at the San Francisco bridge you know there's there's a observation deck ofsorts, Isint it the first or one of the only carabiner bridges or whatever right?)? the old town downtown has not been revitalized and cash infused and turned into a really neat like walk of sorts like downtown Vancouver doing with the harbor over there or the whatever on the water, with different artist and things kind of like Kalama is doing )my boyfriend lives right down the street. I thought it might be a little culture for my son lol. Well, once allowed into our supposedly CLEAN new room I was horrified. We went to work cleaning the room ourselves with cleaning products I bought from the next door Safeway store. The place was filthy. I took a bunch of pictures. Then to top it off, promptly at midnight, the neighboring Post Office got to work on their night shift work which was SO LOUD no one got any sleep! it's no wonder all the drug dealers hang out there lol. Nobody's getting any sleep over at that place ! Damn vampires over there ! This place is HORRIBLE. I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay there. It needs to be shut down. Oh and the impromptu BBQ under the disgustingly filthy stairs up to our room looked tasty with all the ner do wells hovering to get some dusty filth BBQ! omg it is so gross I can't even do it justice with words. Stay at your own risk! Sad that our small town is being invaded by people of I don't care what race or color you are but the same race and color buying up all the hotel motels and running them like slum lord places!!! You know who you are! Be part of the solution! Let's all make money together! You know what they say, pigs, get fat, hogs, get slaughtered. *I took a ton of photos but I cannot find them, so stay tuned, they may surface!

But when you're afraid to take off your shoes you know it's a bad room. Nasty floors. I bet they haven't cleaned them in months! The smell was horrible! Like someone sprayed cheap air freshener to cover up the smell of urine and BO. I pulled the blankets off the bed to check for bugs. No bugs, but blood and yellow stains on the comforter. Everytime I tried to use the microwave it would flip the breaker and we would loose power in half the room. Exposed wires in the baseboard heater in the bathroom. No room service! I had to empty our own trash and buy our own towels. The trash bins outside the rooms were over flowing. They said no refunds or we would've stayed at another place. One star only because they had flat screen TV's, microwave and mini fridge. Adding this a day later.... They charged me an additional $25.00 for a broken toilet seat... are you kidding me right now? I'm beyond angry! Total cost = $265.00 for three days in the worst hotel ever!

This wasn't a case where the tenant did something bad, I paid rent on time every month for 3 years even through the pandemic and I lived alone. The landlord refuses to fix anything with a proper contractor, the walls are paper thin you can hear people breathing at times, when it snows it's nearly impossible to get into the apartment complex as it's a step hill to even enter it, you will get door dings 100%, tweakers constantly go up there to shoot up in the parking lot and camp out, the manager of the apartments is absolutely useless she's afraid to talk to anyone that's causing problems for other tenants, there's constant drinking in the parking lots and grown men peeing everywhere ( you'll smell it if you move there )

I would of went to their…read morebusiness and filled out an application but it states if you do that they will charge $65.00 online it cost $40.00. So it states at the beginning of the application that a person applying must have all needed documentation. It states the needed documentation is proof of income. Id. Social security card or W2. I enclosed all this with my application at the end of application it ask questions and one of the questions was did I have my housing shopping list? I am applying with a section 8 housing vocher which I had enclosed with my application. After I went through this process at the end of the application when I'm going to pay for the $40 for the application fee. I am then asked some questions and one of the questions was did I have my housing shopping list and it says yes or no and explain and I put no because I didn't know what a housing shopping list was and I explained that. I have went through a series of applications orientations and screening with Longview Housing authority. I have never once ever heard the expression are the word housing shopping list. Well after I filled out the application and I sent it this morning I receive a text message from Catlin properties which stated that my application was denied because I didn't give all the documentation and it referred to the shopping list my ng list. So I called Catlin and talk to receptionist and I explained to her what had happened to me instead of being apologetic or explaining to me what this housing shopping list was she said she didn't know but if I called the Housing authority that they could probably tell me. So I am very disappointed in Catlin properties and I am told that I will have to repay for the application if I want to apply for the duplex that I was trying to rent because of my lack of knowledge of what a housing shopping list is yet the receptionist doesn't even know what it is. So if your looking for a company to manage your property don't pick this company unless you want it mismanaged and to lose money because I did notice that out of all the websites I have checked out online Catlin properties rentals go unoccupied for months after being posted that they're available so your places won't get rent out that fast and as you can see from my story why I noticed that Columbia River properties and sharp properties go very quickly within days after being posted but not Catlin properties puts up the same duplex that I've been looking at has been for rent for over a couple months and it keeps popping up like it just came up just a few days ago but I know that's not true because it's been online for months I noticed that Columbia River properties and sharp properties they have a rental that becomes available and within two three four days it is occupied. So if you're looking for an apartment don't apply here and if you're looking for a property management don't bring your property here cuz it'll stay vacant.

** 2.5 stars ** Relocating to the Longview-Kelso area for a…read morenew job and just got an apartment here. They advertise themselves as Kelso's "premiere luxury apartments", and indeed they do seem to have the most amenities of any other apartment complex in the area, but there are some big caveats to note. PROS: - Nice poolhouse featuring a workout room (eliptical, treadmill, bike, few weight machines), seasonal pool, spa, sauna, public bbq grill (unfortunately it closes at 10pm so not a good fit if you like latenight workouts). - Gated entry at night which seems to decrease the risk of break-ins/theft - There appears to be ample parking spots for the number of residents. - The 2 managers seem nice and pretty knowledgeable about the complex, though several details weren't given about the application/move-in process that really detracted from our experience (see below). CONS: - REALLY THIN WALLS - unfortunately this is something really hard to tell if you're just visiting, but within the 1st couple nights we could VERY easily hear neighbors through the walls talking, singing in the shower, or using a blender at 5am. If you're a light sleeper, be very prepared to bring earplugs. - Price: Compared to all other apartments we saw in the area, this is definitely the most expensive we found: ~$1000/mo for a 2 bedroom, ~1000sq ft + 1 car covered garage parking spot. - No onsite recycling - you have to pack it all up and take it to the local recycling drop-off. Despite living in several apartments in Oregon, I've never heard of this being a thing; given that they do have a local trash drop, it really makes it inconvenient to recycle and likely encourages a lot of people to just throw everything away :-( - The water/sewer bill is NOT metered for each unit, so they calculate the total building's use and then divide the cost (presumably evenly) for each unit. It was quite the shock when we were only present in the apartment for a few days during the 1st month, and yet the water usage was still $45 (not including taxes or base fees) - again, there's really no incentive to save/limit water use with this billing method. - Really inflexible policies: The worst example was on the day that we were going to move-in. They refused to take my check for the move-in fees, saying it had to come from my wife's checking account since she's the primary tenant (even though we jointly applied and both paid the application fee). No one had told us that ahead of time! But we weren't worried because we could pay cash or a direct bank transfer of funds. Wrong - they would only take checks or money orders. It's usually easy to get that from our bank, but it was also the day of a big snowstorm that closed all the banks by noon, so we had no way to get a cashiers check that day. Instead of letting us spend just 1 night there before getting them a check the next day, they made us pay to get a hotel room. We had already paid all the screening fees, have perfect credit, AND gave a valid check from me, so I saw no reason why they couldn't help us out just a little by letting us pay the deposit 1 day late since they only now told us about the check requirement. The lack of empathy and flexibility in such frigid conditions, really seemed unfathomable. Overall, the place has been ok, but given the price you'll be paying, definitely be aware of the concerns noted above if you're thinking about staying here.

I have been a resident of the Summerwind Luxury Apartment complex (2700 Allen Street, Kelso, WA…read more98626) since August 2014 and felt compelled to write a review. I have been extremely satisfied with the services offered, every staff person I've met has been agreeable, friendly, and diligent. I find the apartments livable, well constructed, well thought-out, and elegant. The amenities are many and unfortunately I've been so busy I've not been able to utilize them on a regular basis. The workout room, pool, spa, and garage with remote are exceptional. I really appreciate keeping my car in a garage. The apartments are expensive, but well worth it. If you factor in all the time you save it is well worth the price. I like the fact it's the apartment is so close to I-5 as it allows one to get around much more quickly than otherwise anticipated as well as being within 10 minutes of Safeway, a shopping mall, Cash and Carry, and countless other businesses besides. Despite being so close it's also in a nice area, the noise level is quite low as the complex is somewhat surrounded by elevated terrain which reflect noise up and over the complex so interstate traffic noise etc isn't really heard. The landscaping is exceptionally good, and it's close to nature. I have, on a couple of occasions, seen deer grazing on the perimeter or on the property grounds themselves. The maintenance crew keeps the grounds looking perfect and are extremely respectful stopping weed-whackers/lawnmowers/etc if you happen to be walking by. The appliances are wonderful, a full sized dish washer and clothes washer and drier save an exceptional amount of time. The amount of storage in the apartments is quite exceptional, I especially like all the counter-top, pantry, and cabinet space (Yes I am male but I do cook almost all my own meals... long story). I'm sure any gender will be appreciative of the ample closet space. I have to say that it's strange to actually see the maintenance personnel do all those chores you know should be done but you've never actually seen being done at other apartment complexes. Not to long ago I saw them out cleaning out the exterior of the lint traps. They've pressure washed the siding, balconies, and entryways. Quite a long list of other tasks were done that I won't bother you with and more I can't recall. I hazard to guess how many other tasks they've performed but I haven't observed. Overall I've found the apartments, staff, and services to be superb and I anticipate they remain so. If or when I ever move out I will update this review with how that went. Sincerely wishing everyone the best, Matthew
